Hi,
Lisa is of course correct to listen to your body but retention nozzles correctly used can be wonderful.
My experience is that the double balloon latex nozzle is much more comfortable than the silicon ones, however, the failure rate of both is high and thus expensive.
I use the single bulb rubber one held in place with a leather harness (which I tailored to eliminate any long term use soreness against the sides of the buttocks)
I take a two quart coffee enema every morning as I wake up. Two quarts of any (normal) enema ie: plain water salt and baking soda, coffee, or soapsuds, is not going to cause any intolerable cramping, which is only momentary anyway.
The retention nozzle allows a slow and very relaxing enema with no fear of leaking. I go to sleep with the nozzle in, the enema bag with a heating pad wrapped around it hanging by the bed and upon awakening, just flip the clamp. No discomfort sleeping whatever.
Certainly experience is a great teacher, I hope those who have had a bad experience will explore it further.
Try it you'll like it.!
Have a great day everyone.
With understanding affection, GDFRU
