18 yr old male sigmoidoscopy

Had nervous stomach problems a lot . I was an otherwise normal guy, matured quick, I got body hair and pubic hair at 13 and had a deep voice, and very large balls. Was athletic (wrestler, baseball etc). Just had nervousness. Dr recommended me to a specialist at a place that specialized in diseases of anus and rectum for sigmoidoscopic exam. My reg dr explained that they would pass a metal tube into my rectum about the diameter of his finger so they could see what was going on inside. I didnt like the idea but wanted to be better.

Got to appt and nurse told me to undress completely and lay on exam table with this small hand towel over the front of me, no gown. Finally dr came in and we talked a while. Then the exam began with me laying on my left side while he spread my cheeks open and did a lot of looking around and spreading me open more and more all the time telling me to relax. He had me breath deep hold it and push out like I was going to poop, then squeeze real tight., and repeat it. He said that the most uncomfortable part of the exam was next and that he would be taking a rectal culture and took two large wooden Q tips and opened me up real wide and inserted them dry which he apologized for telling me to push out. It hurt like hell. Then he inserted a rectal thermometer and held it in place with his fingers that I could feel between my cheeks telling me to relax but I couldnt stop clamping down repeatedly. After that , he inserted his finger and was slow and gentle about it as he twisted it around slowly and then said that he was going to push on my prostate gland which I really could feel and I said that I thought I was going to pee and he assured me that it only felt like it and it will go away when he removed his finger. A male nurse or dr came into the large room to get something out of a cabinet and walked right by. Next he said that it was time to get on with the exam. I am thinking, God, as if all this wasnt enough. I saw him take a chrome scope that looked like a silver bullet with a handle on it and apply lube to it. He said it was important for me to remain in position and be still. Now I was scared. He spread me open and I could feel the cold greasy tip push on my anal area and was told to breath in slow and real deep over and over again and to push out against the scope as he inserted it. I never felt anything quite like it. I kept straightening out my legs and squeezing down and what he said was right, that I would feel pressure and like I had to poop but that I didnt really have to , it was the scope. I couldnt keep the position, and he said that it would take longer if I didnt cooperate. I tried but it was too much. He kept reinserting it and I could feel the handle part against the back of my balls which were large. It made a sucking sound as he removed the middle part with the tip before reinserting it. After about 5 insertions it was done. I was thinking it was over but then an old lady nurse came walking in to assist for the sigmoidoscope. The dr pulled my hips back towards the edge of the table and told me to extend my legs forward as if bending over and the nurse stepped in between the back of my legs and the table to keep my legs forward. THen they reeled off about 3 ft of wide gauze and doubled it over and wrapped it around my balls with the two ends extending in front of me and said it was to keep my testicles and penis forward from getting in the way and for me to hold the ends of the gauze with my left hand which I was laying on. THe other hand above my head and grabbing the edge of the table and not to move at all. They really scared me. The nurse spread me way open and the dr began driving a longer scope inside me which was like the first one but about 14 inches long!!!! I was never more embarrassed or humiliated in my life! Two strangers, an old couple going into my most private areas all being exposed etc. The dr pushed that scope into me rectum and squeezed air into me at the same time which caused bad cramping that subsided and I could feel that thing poking me all up deep inside and all the way over to my left side jabbing like mad. I was sweating, and they said not to move I was really trying to comply out of fear and I did have a few tears over it all. I kept hollering to take it out , take it out, I can do it anymore. Not thinking that my deeper than normal voice would be heard by everyone in adjoining rooms and halls until afterwards when I had to walk out. Taking the scope out took a while with occasional partial reinsertions. Finally after about 15 minutes of this it was done and they wiped me clean and said I could lay on my back now and relax for a while as it wasnt good to get right up. They left and the male nurse came in who I am sure was gay, and he talked to me a while and took my blood pressure and pulse and stayed with me a while. He said when I was ready to get up to let him know. I did and he had me lay on my side again and then HE had to spread me way open again and check for blood and cleaned me up real thoroughly. He helped me up and helped me get dressed, and saw my testicles and penis totally from the front. I figured well why not he already has been up my ass, wiping away all the mess. It was really traumatic and super frightening and I will never forget it, although they were all pretty nice. I was blown away the whole day and week after.
