Skybear,
Well, it sort of happened like that actually. I had a suitcase full of medical supplies, mostly catheter related things, IV things, a few other odd and ends. I checked my bag. When I landed I was offered a little chat with a TSA agent who wanted to know why I had so much medical equipment in my bag.
Apparently, according to the TSA guy, "that's not normal". I asked him with a smile on my face and with an air of laughter, "what am I going to do, hijack the plane?" Then I said in a cheeky tone and acting like I was holding up a catheter, "take me where I want to go or I am going to cath you." Then I laughed. For some reason though, the TSA guy didn't, and didn't even crack a smile.
So, for two years I found myself on the "high risk" fly list. Was fantastic. I could bet my paycheck I would be getting questioned and patted down everytime I flew, which it did happen almost every single time, either going or coming, and at the time I was flying out and back about every 6-8 weeks. Thats a lot of groping, lol.
Yep, true story. I often wondered if the "secret agents" who fly every flight knew who was on that list and why, and if one of them was keeping an eye on me, lol. Oh what they must have been thinking.
