Good evening jannet,
That enema bag is even more interesting when you find an original JBL Cascde as I did at the Bottle House in Death Valley, circa 1984. The Bottle House is a home built out of beer bottles. This area dates back to the Gold Rush, circa 1890-1910. The BH was a museum at that time with all sorts of artifacts left behind by the gold miners.
I researched the JBL Cascade, and it looked like an antique, smelled like antique, and was an original. The mechanical part of the device was engineered and worked very smoothly, with the nozzle being medical grade metal, and the apparatus had a stem that appeared from between the legs when it was sat upon. Turn the stem while sitting, and water flowed upward. it was not a gush, as the nozzle opening was small.
The interior material was like a rubber with an exterior coating of a different material. It was a 'neat' collectIble that I had for over 10 years. Sadly, my car was broken into one night while I was at a play-party in San Francisco, and two toy bags were stolen. That was a tough personal loss to lose 10+ years of toys...
So much for the JBL Cascade. I paid $50 for it that day in Death Valley, and would have gone higher, had I had to. I can't begin to imagine what the real-deal would sell for in the right market place today.
jannet, I've seen you around Zity.biz, but don't think we've ever had the opportunity to visit.
Take care,
Ryan
