I read this on another forum. It was on a thread about someone buying diapers in stores. It's about a kid who wanted to buy a flash drive 15 miles away at a store, probably cvs by what i get from it. So if you think you're nervous or having a bad time buying diapers at a store think again. It COULD have gone as bad as it did for this kid. Just wanted to share.

This guy was 18 and didn't have a car yet. His goal was to get a memory card from the electronics store 15 miles away. So he threw on a jacket and started off on his bike.
Eight miles into the journey, he hit a pothole at a bad angle and knocked his front wheel out of alignment. He flew off the bike, landed in some mud, tore his jacket and one of his shoes, and just looked like a complete mess. He thought of heading back home (and walking his now-unrideable bike), but then considered that he was already halfway there and he should just get the purchase done already.
He got to the store, and attracted a suspicious look even on his way in through the door. He found the memory card that he wanted, went to get his cash from his wallet, and -- it was gone. No wallet. Oh no.
He realized it was probably seven miles or so back down the road, and there was just no way he was going to go to the crash site and back, or home and back, and dang it, he wanted that memory card. It was now a matter of pride. He would have to swipe it.
He tossed it in his jacket pocket and made his way to the exit. At the security gate, the beeper went off. He had forgotten all about the beeper! He started to panic. He knew he was caught. The front door security guy, who was eyeing him with suspicion already, came over and found the card and started to haul the guy to the security back-room.
And that's when his fuse blew. He knew he looked like a mess, he came 15 miles, and he'd have to walk back 15 miles with no merchandise, his bike was jacked up, he was still in some pain from the bike crash... he just lost it. This 18-year-old dude started crying inconsolably. Everyone in the store was looking at him, and the manager came over to see what was going on.
They tried to ask him his name, where he was from, what he was doing, and why he tried to steal that memory card, but they couldn't get a word out of him. They didn't know that his wallet, cash, driver's license, and student ID were by the roadside far away. (By this time, he really had calmed down a little bit and wasn't panicking any more, but he realized the situation and thought he might be able to play this out.) They made an announcement to find anyone he had come to the store with, as it seemed that he might be mentally challenged and he was probably here with someone to supervise him, but of course nobody claimed him.
So they walked him outside. That's when they saw his bike and realized that this poor, evidently mute, and evidently mentally challenged guy came here all by himself with his broken bike. They didn't give him the memory card back, but the manager reprimanded the security guy for his harsh treatment of this slow kid ("why'd you have to make him cry?") and let the guy go back to his bike with no further trouble.
The guy walked home, which took four hours, and found his wallet right where he thought he would.
So, even if you're nervous, you're probably having an easier time than that guy :-)
