After my vasectomy, the urologist warned of a full feeling that I might notice in my testicles during recovery. He was not kidding. That night, they felt huge, and though it was awhile ago, did seem very large. This did not appear to be related to any swelling of my scrotum at the incision site but uniquely associated with the testicles. It quickly subsided but was a unique feeling worthy of exploration by my wife.

Yes hackjuan. I had a vasectomy, some 40 years ago. Had to pay privately then and vasectomy was in its infancy.
I recall that the gynaecologist (yes really, gynaecology was his specialism) when checking me over, told me to come the following Tuesday, to shave my genitals and not to eat for 12 hours beforehand because I would be having a GA. I said I wanted a local jab (or two in this case) and he asked why. I said 'One, its cheaper, and Two, I shall keep talking and if my voice goes squeaky I shall kick you!
Anyway - it was painless apart from the prick (pun intended, though that wasn't involved) and I was bound up with a (free) atheletic support.
The following week though it was as if I'd had a scrotal infusion of, it seemed, at least a litre. And yes I did have blue balls, or rather scrotum, together with the other 6 colours of the rainbow. I was 'tender' to say the least but all was well in the end.
