I just took some of my niece's college stuff over to her dorm room and went out to dinner with her and her roommate.
We were talking about medical embarrassment, and the roommate told me that she had gone to get birth control when she was 15. She didn't have a boyfriend or anything (she says she was to smart and too skinny and too pimply to appeal to high school boys), but she wanted to "break out" at least that much.
She was embarrassed to go to her own doctor because he played golf with her Dad, so she traveled about 40 miles to a women's clinic for the exam. She had to wait a few minutes for her appointment. While she was sitting there 3 students from her high school (2 girls and a boy) came in, greeted the receptionist and went back toward the offices and exam rooms.
The receptionist turned to her and explained "Student nurses!"
In total terror, the girl went into her exam. The doctor came in and, when asked about the "students" assured her that the students had recognized her name and wouldn't be assisting at her exam.
This wasn't complete reassurance since she spent the next few weeks wondering if every student in the school knew about her birth control exam. On the other hand, it was better than her fears that a bunch of fellow students would be watching while the doctor gave her a pelvic.
Since this kind of a story is kind of a turn-on for me, I asked her had she ever imagined that the older kids from her school had actually participated in the exam, penetrated her or whatever. She said that she hadn't even considered that. She blushed a lot when I asked, though, so I suspect that she had fantasies of that type, but didn't want to tell me about them.
