I always read that women should not use the same bag and equipment for both douching and enemas - so I wonder if that is why you happened upon two bags.
As preteens our RN grandmother taught my brother, sister, an I personal hygiene. Once school started that fall, we started giving each other enemas after school in the afternoon. A year or two into this activity, my sister asked me for a couple of enemas, because she was having troublesome period cramps one afternoon. We followed our normal routine, whenever we gave each other enemas. As a rule, she gave me a couple of enemas first, then I gave her a couple of enemas, that being her preferred order. As she was on the toilet expelling her second enema, I was rinsing the bag in soap & water and the douche nozzle in alcohol. When she asked me to fix her a warm water douche with a little vinegar. I did as she asked and hung the full bag on the shower head, then started to leave too give her privacy. When she said, “don’t leave, I needed your help.” I replied, “sure, what do you need?” She said, “I want you to hold the bag, while I stand in the shower with the water on my back, because the hose isn’t long enough and it’ll give you the chance to see what I do.” When she finished on the toilet and got up. She turned the water on in the shower, adjusted the temperature too her liking and got in. With her back to the shower head, water spraying down her back, she said, “get the bag and hold it up for me, then hand me the douche nozzle.” Once she had the douche nozzle in hand, she slowly slid it in her vagina with a little twist, then asked me to start the flow. I watched as she douched with a nozzle, that less than an hour before, had been used to give both of us a couple of enemas.
The linen closet had a second two quart closet top douche/enema bag, along with hose an attached nozzle, ready for use. However, it was mainly used as a hot water bottle after we were responsible for ourselves. There were three or four extra douche nozzles both curved and straight, plus the same number of rectal nozzles, of various sides, stored in a drawer by the bathroom sink. At least two of the douche nozzles had a hole in the tip and the others didn’t. I don’t recall if the nozzle my sister an I used that day, had the hole in the tip or not. However, I suspect it did, because we preferred to use one of the douche nozzles with a hole in the tip for enemas. In all the years we engaged in this activity, none of the girls ever had a problem, because we used the same douche nozzle both anally or vaginally. Our RN grandmother had taught us too “always” clean rectal or vaginal nozzles in alcohol.
