Water temperature critical or ?

For me, a cold solution is very hard to hold indeed

I use an instant read thermometer. My hot tap water is 120 degrees -- too hot to hold my hand in. I find about 103 to 105 degrees comfortable. It usually cools a degree or two before the flow starts. Invest in a thermometer and don't risk injuring your delicate rectal tissue. :😃

Like I have said before, if it is too hot on your hand, it is too hot for your butt!

Anyone ever try inserting ice cubes and then melting them with warm water? Seems like it could be a unique sensation...

Mood is the key for me. When fixed with sex in mind, I often stop the enema and add hotter water. Knowledge that it is hotter seems to be more important than it actually being hotter. As XM Radio says, "The pictures are in your head."

Hotter is better I've found, so around 100 if possible as it seems to flow in more easily and means less cramps. 😃

I bought a Topfin digital aquarium thermometer at PetsMart for $10. It has a push button to measure F degrees or C degrees as you prefer. Measures F degrees to 1/10th degree. The temperature range is for tropical fish, all reasonable ranges for human enemas. It has a remote sensor that you can put in your enema bucket or bag and still be able to easily read it outside the bucket or bag. I just set the thermometer on the shelf with the remote sensor in my enema jug.

It's hard to find a thermometer this accurate and versitile for only $10.

Right on! 114 is truly my magic number. After a series of these, however, a full-size icewater enema is Nirvana, going in like liquid gold: Who'd 'a thunk it?

I grew up getting very warm enemas, not dangerously hot, but extremely warm. Mother knew just how much warmth was needed and she alwasy made them feel so good to me

I check the temp with a digital thermometer before I pour it in the bag. I like to start with it showing 108-110 degrees, knowing it drops a degree or two by time it gets into me. Did you ever do a rt check immediately after? I see a 4 degree drop almost immediately and within 10 minutes I am back to the normal 99-100 for rt. The colon is a good heat sink.

A cooler enema at around 100 degrees is good in the summer.

I ALWAYS gauge my water temp with a thermometer. 102 is ideal. In the summer I like my enemas @ 97. Try it!

I have used ice cubes on my partner, sliding into his ass, his reactions are incredible, makes him harder, have also used one in my mouth prior to giving him head

A really interesting twist on your body is to start with hot water, then switch to cold water. The hot water will stay above the colder water and you get a thermal layer of differing temperatures that plays tricks on your mind. Best way to do this is with a Y-valve, but you can try having a standby collection of water ready to go too!

Warm, but not hot TO THE PERSON GETTING THE ENEMA Even if it feels cold or hot to the giver.

I like my enemas hot. 114 to 116 is great, then as the bag, well my sunshower bag, cools, I get more and more water in me. So I start hot and as the bag cools, I get great fills. After I have had bout 8 quarts in and out of me, 4 quarts each fill at the most, I then refill with more hot water to bring the temp up. I usually get about 2 to 3 quarts in the first time, then 4 quarts the next two fills, then refill with hot water. I love the warm feeling inside me. Feels so good. 😃

if the temp of the water at the output of the nozzle , to be clear when the flow reach your rectum and colon is above 107°F / 42°C. your intestinal flora will be killed / destroyed .

It doesn't matter of colonic bacteria is killed, and I doubt 107F will kill of very much, but the fact is normal feces--that means people who do not take regular enemas--is 20-40% bacteria by weight and your enema, even if it doesn't kill the bacteria, will physically wash it all away.

I am still convinced that warm but not hot to the person getting the enema is still the best balance of safety and effectiveness

I use my hand, wrist, and lips to test the waters temperature when I'm drawing it. If it is too hot on those areas then it's too hot to put up my sub's ass. Though he prefers a warmer enema. Doesn't mean he's going to get it!

I use a thermometer to make my warm soapy enemas at 105 degrees F. The rush feels so good, as I moan in ecstasy. I love the way my wife dominates me over her lap. If I'm a good boy, she gives me a happy ending!

Neither Sis nor I use a thermometer. The same goes for my personal assistant and my physician's assistant. We all seem to be in agreement that for a pleasant, warm, and comfy enema the water needs to be a little too warm on the inside of our wrists. My physician's assistant used a thermometer once, and found that the water as we like it is +/- 110F. Of course, sometimes we want a really cold enema, and for that, we add ice to the bag. That makes a great enema for getting a "stuck" enema moving again.

I am more convinced than ever that making sure it feels WARM but not hot to the person RECEIVING the enema it's right.

I have just a normal digital thermometer used for oral temp. taking bought from CVS. It goes over 100 F far enough to register for an enema. It is quick and accurate and cheap. just my $0.02 worth. You can spend a lot of $ for some lab type thermometer, but every household should have a thermometer like I described anyway, so kill two birds with one stone.

Temperature is critical! Slightly cold and I get cramps. Slightly hot and It burns going in and I can't hold it one minute. I always use a thermometer, and this is what I discovered with just a few degrees. Its also important to get a thermometer that is accurate. Lots of the cheap ones are not.

Definitely prefer warmer water around 100-105F for my solutions. As many have said feels so much better and is relaxing to the colon as it flows. Also find it easier to retain for longer periods.

Warm for cleaning out but cold for playing!

As time has past, i like my enemas warmer than before. I use a lab thermometer (about 9 bucks at just about any lab supply house, very accurate), and prepare the enemas solution at 115, going into the bag. It cools a bit , so maybe 114 at the start of the enema, feels really good.
