Dear Group,
Grew up in 40's & 50's, mother was an old-time nurse 1929 to 60's. Sis and I got enemas, suppositories and probably rectal temps (I remember none).
Back then enemas were mentioned when relatives got one, I snooped in family bathrooms, often found syringes.
Had the record for being in bathrooms!
Enemas and "the word" did something to me (thou I hated them then), especially when I learned girls got them and girls had fannies. Plus sis and I fought some, enjoyed hearing her get one. Peeked once, she got from Armstrong Artweave Black HWB with Black Hose and Adult Rectal Pipe.
I got the Artweave Red/Orange Bag. Once came home from Elementary School, sis was on toilet, mom said "she came home sick and I gave her an enema".
Recall when someone was sick, mom said "Shoot It Up Their Fanny"!
Can't figure out why I'm here.
Take Care. mb (still near Balto, MD)
