Took my first sex/rec enema in months last night. Watched the spinning paddle wheel under the bag the whole time filling with 4+ quarts. Lovely enema, J&J shampoo for the first time for me, also used as lube.Eric
The ball type ones that I know of are made by BEL-ART. I agree that they clog easily. The paddle wheel types are better for enema usage.
I have used both the red ball type and the paddle wheel type, the paddle wheel is much superior. The quality control on the the red ball type is poor, some barely turn, even at high flow rates, and very few of them work with low flow rates (
Let's finish the post: (< 1 cup/minute). They clog up with soap and are difficult to clean. With all flow indicators, it is very important to displace all air in the device. Even small air bubbles can cause erratic performance. I like the blue wheeled Alphacool model, sold by Amazon, covers a wide range of flow rates, doesn't clog with soap, and made reasonably well. My wife really likes the flow indicator, she says it makes it much easier to give me a proper enema when the flow rate is known. I'm all for that !!!
We have one of those spinning ball things, a counter and a pressure gauge. Pretty to look at and fun. they are attached to the big jug in the playroom.
I have a couple of different type of visual flow indicator devices (paddle wheel and ball). I equip every one of them with a short length of hose to an in-line check valve. This way there is no backflow, hence no clogging. I also make sure that any additive (soap or whatever) is fully dissolved. After the enema administration, a thorough clear water flush is also necessary.
I have purchased them fairly recently. They are an absolute turn on to me. Yesterday I stared at the one installed in the setup most of the time – and all the time during the last, fifth enema.I took the 3+ litre fairly easily… ;-)
