Well, maybe it might just be my aged warped recollection, but I really don't think so. But, I can't say I saw as much litter back when diapers were cloth. I can remember a time when there seemed to be more thought as to where one deposited their discards.
Don't know if anyone notices that, there seems to be allot of trash dumped on highway entrances and exit ramps, like cloverleafs! Don't know why this is, or seems to be? But it just seems like there is more at these places then the rest of a roadway. Maybe cause it's where you're going slower, and people think it's easier to toss??? Or, they think these are places less likely to be seen by others???
Anyway, I want to relate another tidbit on this subject. While working on a road expansion project recently, I was at the edge of this road when I spotted a Depends bag. It was kinda empty from the look of it, but you could also tell it had been used as a container for something. My guess, the last diaper that came in the bag, used of course. No, I had no intention of confirming this !!! This case, I "ASSUMED" as much. But, whatever the case, it annoyed me that some A hole, even if with legit incontinence issues, would toss this to the roadside. Oh, you're done with that, and now you expect someone else to have to deal with it? F U, A hole!!!! >😢 Whoever you may be, that is gross! I'm sure there would have been no way that would have stayed safely stowed till your next stop! Oh, and there was a rest area, with trash cans just a shot distance away. But yeah, that might mean you would have to take what, 2 minutes to pull in to do that?
Sorry if I seemed to get into a bit of a rant on this, but it left an impression on me.
I do have to say, I was somewhat intrigued on a certain level, about spotting an adult diaper bag at the roadside though. You come to expect to see baby diapers in these cases. 😁
