Siblings rectal temperature

I have to concur with what most have said. In the 60's and 70's, childhood modesty was not even a consideration, at least until you hit puberty. We would walk down the hall in underwear and socks.

As for the actual RT, it was SOP. You expected it. You might weakly complain if you were around 6 or older, but you always submitted. (If you protested too vigorously or argued too much, you got worse than a temp when you got home.) It was a big day when they did the first oral temp. It meant you were not a "little kid" anymore.

I have never had my temp taken at the same time as my sister. It might be taken right before or right after, but Mom only had one thermometer, and I never remember us being in the examined at the same time. (My other siblings are significantly older than my sister and I, so they had all graduated to Oral temps.)

When my sister and I went for wellness checkups we always got our temperatures taken together rectally until she was 9 years old.Then we went to separate appointments. My sister is 4 years older than me.

I'm an only child but I did see several of my cousins and a few neighborhood kids getting a thermometer inserted into their bottoms. I was too young to be horny but I did enjoy watching.

I only have one sibling, a younger sister who is 11 years younger than me, so I do have some experience with her rectal temps. As I was an older child/teenager when she was young, I was sometimes responsible for her temperatures. When she would get sick, if our mother was busy, I would have to administer rectal temperatures, which I was given almost religiously as a child. (Our mom is a pediatric nurse, who solely believes in rectal temps & medicine given in suppository form.) My sister suffered chronic constipation when she was a baby, so either I experienced her taking many suppositories, and I even gave her a few. One memory that sticks out in my mind was when my younger cousin(two years younger than me) had her rectal temp taken by my mom. My aunt, who avoided anything administered rectally, asked my mom to take her temperature because she was really sick. I was left downstairs to watch tv and play alone for a few minutes, but I went upstairs a few minutes after they did because I got lonely. I saw my cousin laying diaper-position with my mom holding a thermometer up her bottom. The combination of this memory and my own experiences triggered my fetish.

There were four of us, with a six year span from oldest to youngest. I'm oldest, and in those early years there wasn't much that was hidden. So when a younger sibling had to have a temperature taken -- it was just done, and those who were around watched if interested. In those days rectal temperatures were the norm for children, and there was no particular concern about the invasive nature of the procedure.

I was the baby of the family with two much older sisters. As a result I never saw a sibling getting an RT although I know they saw many of mine and even administered a few. My turn to watch came when I was 7 or 8 and playing at Ronnie's (a buddy) house. His little brother Timmy (age 2-3) woke up from his nap very fussy and my Ronnie's mom carried Timmy out to the living room where we were playing. She asked Ronnie to go to her bedroom and retrieve the thermometer and vaseline from their dresser, which he did. Meanwhile, Timmy was placed face up across his mother's lap where she pulled off his diaper/training pants. Ronnie returned with the thermometer and vaseline and mom deftly prep'ed the thermometer and inserted into little Timmy's butt. Ronnie was interested in returning to play, but I just wanted to watch the RT. When time was up, the thermometer was removed and read. The verdict was he had a fever and mom carted Timmy back to bed. Mom returned 10 minutes later and sat down. She called us both over to feel our foreheads. She announced that my Ronnie felt warm and that I should go home now. Ronnie protested and offered a deal with his mom to take his temperature and if it was OK, I didn't have to go home. She reluctantly agreed. In a flash Ronnie was striped down naked in the living room and laid himself face down across his mother's lap. She again prepared and inserted the thermometer into Ronnie's butt and I stood watching intently as my Ronnie patiently waited, his mom holding him steady across her lap. As Ronnie lay there he asked me if I wanted his mom to take my temperature too. My brain shouted YES, but before my mouth could answer in a less eager way his mom answered, "No, we'll let his mom do the temperature taking."Unfortunately, Ronnie did have a temperature too and I was sent home.

I saw my brother get it at doc appt...but he was only like less then 2 years old....but I didn’t really understand much about because I was only 6

My sister is two years younger than I. We often shared doctor’s office visits, because if one of us had something, the other was bound to get it too.

I often watched my sister getting her temp taken on the exam room counter in the diaper position. Sometimes it was simultaneous for us, as she would be getting hers taken on the countertop while ankles up, I would be having mine taken on the exam table while face down.

While I was never disagreeable about the procedure, my little sister often was. I recall her once throwing a fit while shooting pee everywhere as the thermometer entered her bottom! That is something I will never forget.

My sister was two years older than me, so I honestly can't remember her getting a rectal temp. taken. I know that she walked in on me having it done, on a few occasions, and was probably relieved that it wasn't her having it taken. I was too young to be embarrassed, but it still wasn't a pleasant memory.

One day i saw my younger sister getting her temperature taken.

She was really small (maybe 3 or so)... That evening my mom came to us and then touched my sisters forehead, which must have felt warm because she told my dad to go and get the thermometer and the Vaseline.

When dad came into the living room my sister was already laying on the couch with her trousers removed.

She didn't know what was going to happen. With one hand mom lifted up her legs and with the other one she inserted the thermometer. My sister started to cry and mom tried to comfort her while she held the thermometer in place. When she was done she looked at the thermometer and told my dad that my sister needed a suppository. I was really excited. When he came back he held my sisters arms because he knew that she would be squirming around when mom pushed in the suppository in. My sister started to cry really bad.

I only saw my older sister get her rectal temperature taken once with a glass thermometer and in diaper position. My younger sister on the other hand got hers taken often as a new born by my mother on the living room couch.

I'm the oldest. Probably when she was really little. My parents preferred the digital, under the tongue thermometer because it was easier.

Every now and then, the neighbors up the street from us would babysit us during the day. I may have been around 6 or so, and my sister is over a year younger than I am. With that said, we were over at the neighbors for the day, and my sister started feeling sick. The mom brought out the RT and a towel, and told my sister she was going to take her temp. While the neighbors daughter and I were on the living room floor watching TV, the mom was on the couch, with my sister laid across her lap. Panties down, and butt up. I didn't see her insert the thermometer, because we were told to keep our eyes on the TV. I did look back once, real quick, and noticed my sister didn't seem too happy, but she wasn't crying or fussing.

Since my sis was running a temperature, I was sure I would be next in the prone position on the couch, with a glass rod up my bare ass. I wondered who else in that household got RTs. I am assuming the daughter and the son, but maybe their dad too.

I never saw actually any siblings getting a rectal temp but I however was seen getting one when my older brother snuck into my mom’s bedroom while she was taking my temp. I was laying on her bed with a bedsheet covering me and my mom didn’t see my him sneak into the room. He pulled the sheet off me and started laughing. I screamed and my mom came running in and chased him out. I guess you’d call that a temp shaming.

Back in the Day (50's--60's) I never heard about parents complaining about their kids “biting” the thermometer. Then ..thermometers were the mercury type and parents knew it was poisonous. So to avoid any accidents with fidgety/hyperactive youngin's the rectal thermometer was used until a kid was 9 or so when a glimmer of sense allowed for a “oral” temp take….

Yes many times l was able to observe my sister getting various treatments from mom. I was always excited.

I would usually see my younger sister get a rectal temp done when my mom would feel our forehead and thought we had a fever. For me she changed to underarm at age 8 maybe and for my younger sister was about the same. If a suppository was needed she would bring us in the bedroom with no one else present. Same was for enemas, though I caught glimpses of my sister receiving them as we grew up.

I saw my little brother once getting rectal temperature take from mom - he was laying on a towel over mom's bed with his pajamas down around his ankles with the end of the thermometer sticking out of his butt. He and she didn't see me.

I saw him a couple of times getting his temp taken by my aunt. it was during spring & summer break from school. Mom was at work and she came over to supervise us. She was sitting on our living room sofa with my brother laying butt naked over her lap. I just came into the room, saw what was happening and left. He didn't looked pleased at all.

I remember as young kids if my sister and I were both sick getting our temperatures taken both at home and in the doctor's office where we could see the other laying there with a thermometer in the bottom embarrassed having to be there bare bottom.

At age 11, I got to assist in taking my infant/toddler cousin’s rectal temps several times. My aunt would have me hold his feet while holding the thermometer in his bottom. I was never allowed to insert it, but I got to withdraw and learn how to read it. She had absolutely no idea about the thrill it gave me to be on the other end of the thermometer for a change!

When we were kids, my sister and I shared the same room so I saw her getting rectal temperature, usually just before sleeping and she saw me getting the same treatment.

We were five male brothers telling me, 3 older and another younger one during my childhood it was normal to see each other taking RT even when the older ones grew up they helped mom to take the little ones the RT

My youngest brother is 10 years younger than I am, so I saw mom do rectal temps on him several times. I don't remember it done to myself, but seeing it with him led me to use a crayon with the paper removed to "check my own temp" more than once.

I always peeked in whenever my younger brother- Rob, or my cousin- Tara had theirs taken in their rooms. They are 6 ears younger than me. When Tara moved in with us, we shared the same bedroom for about 2 years. We saw each others' bare bottoms a few times, back then. I am pretty sure that my brother took a peek at my bare bottom, since mom always left our doors open. That was in case the phone rang on the kitchen wall- remember those?

I saw my sisters butts a lot, but no recollection of any of us getting rectal temps.

I never was never present when any of my siblings had their temperature taken rectally, but my little sister saw mine taken once when I was a preteen. I'm not sure how much detail she actually saw, since Mom had pulled up the bedsheet to give me some privacy. But it was definitely embarrassing for me, since she was old enough to know it was the "baby" way.
