During ny last colonoscopy prep in April, I broke my black Wearever douche nozzle. My wife was administering a 3.5L saline enema & I finished all but a few ounces. I held it for a few minutes, then made a dash for the bathroom....down the stairs, through the kitchen & down the hall. Had the almost empty bag in one hand and the hose in the other, the nozzle still firmly planted in my butt. When I got to the loo, I just pulled on the hose, the nozzle came out and hit the edge of the toilet. It was a minute later that I realized I broke my fav nozzle :'( .
That nozzle came from moms 50's vintage Wearever travel syringe. It had a gentle curve, bulbous head & half moon top that unscrewed for cleaning. With that nozzle fully inserted and gently twisting it around, it would do things to my prostate that are hard to describe.
This past week my honey noticed my Crohn's disease was starting to show signs of a flare up. She suggested a series (usually 3 or 4 ) of High Ph enemas this Sunday. I just love when she suggests enemas befor I have to ask for them. There were some studies done a while ago showing a high Ph in the gut tends to reduce inflamation from Crohn's disease. We find it reduces severity and duration of a flare up. Also a great excuse for me to be on the receiving end of several large volume enemas.
I really want to find one of these gems, but so far, no luck. If anyone has one they would be willing to sell or trade, let me know. I also need the screw on adapter on the hose end, mine is cracked & leaks. I'll buy one outright or trade a used once KLYSTRA Paris bag in excellent condition. I also have amateur radio gear (I see there are several fellow amateur radio operators on the site) to trade.
Thanks to everyone for reading this!
