I'm not certain that I was ever given suppositories, though I saw my infant brothers receive them. Why were you cathed as a kid? For medical reasons? For punishment reasons? some other reason?

Definitely. My Aunt was the one who would subject me to frequent suppositories. I was always fought them, of course. She would usually insert two and make me lay across her lap until she felt I had waited long enough(she didn't want me to push them out prematurely). Ugh, it was awful.

Yes I had suppositories forced up my butt when I was a kid. My mom gave me a glycerine suppository whenever a bedtime dose of laxative didn't make me have to go as soon as I woke up the next morning. I was given forced suppositories as a child (age 10-11) in hospital.
