Hello Friends,
I was reading on a travel website that got me thinking about eating before a long flight. This is what someone said that I never thought of. Before that post, someone suggest eating a burrito before flying, and this is a reply to that. It's really pretty funny.
I would love to know your input on this.
" At first I thought it was a joke about the burrito. Just like a balloon or your inflatable travel pillow, trapped gas inside your body will expand at altitude (not just the air inside your eardrums). The pressurized planes usually keep the inside altitude to about 8,000 feet, but it's enough to make a noticable difference. If you know certain foods affect you that way, there is no better time to avoid them than when you are flying.
I probably wouldn't start a conversation with my seatmate, "I feel great, I just ate a burrito!" LOL! "
I wonder if this is true about the trapped gas inside your body when flying. Any thoughts on this?
I have trapped gas even when I'm not flying! But I never had a worse problem with gas when I fly. A day before a long flight, I ALWAYS have a good enema series. This makes me feel wonderful through the whole flight, having a clean colon. Maybe the enema series keep me from getting too much gas. If I said what I'm telling you on that travel site, my post would get deleted for sure! No talk of enemas on a travel site! LOL! Too bad since we can talk about travel on an enema site! But taking good care of yourself before a big trip is very important. I go to Europe every November, so I know this first hand.
An enema series before I leave is very important for me, and how I eat is also important. I like a good meal before a flight since the food on the plane is the worst. There is talk about weighing the passengers before getting on a flight. I hope that wont happen! If this does ever happen, I'll need to have even a bigger enema series.
What I want to ask you all, do you think this is true about the gas being trapped from the altitude? I never even thought of this. What do you think?
Bottoms Up!
