Who prefers suppositories to enemas ?

Like them both suppository is easier when you need a quick fix but prefer an enema if i have the time

Suppositories can help if taken a little while before an enema. Some types of suppositories (such as glycerin) will pretty much be rendered ineffective if taken right before an enema.

While I like both suppositories and enemas, suppositories are definitely my favorite. I'm fairly sure it's due to my childhood experiences with suppositories and not enemas. Of course I can completely understand why most people would prefer enemas.

A suppository in the late evening and then two enemas the next morning really works for me.

Time permitting, an enema is the more enjoyable and thorough route to have a clean rectum and colon, as far as the water can reach. Add in the pleasure of an enema, the potential sensual side effects, coupled with feeling refreshed thereafter, and it is my preference.

Lacking time, and when the need is there, a suppository can certainly clean out the rectum and maybe a little more, without the mess, and fuss.

In my case, store bought suppositories do not seem as effective as the ones that Mom hid up my butt oh so many years ago. Ssssoooo, having done some research, I developed a recipe, and make my own suppositories. They are as gentle as a lamb, but you will go within 15 to 30 minutes. And, it's all over in less that 1 minute, once it starts; and, there is no mess ~ no fuss.

When I am playing and have time, I want as many things in my bottom as I can possibly insert (safely, for me, anyway). So, suppositories are a great start for me, and enemas the next step before playing with anal toys. I like to be well cleaned out before other anal activity. I'd much rather be given an enema than have a suppository inserted. I was given suppositories when I was a kid, but I don't remember it much. But the last suppository I had was inserted by my wife. It was a prescription for nausea. To make a long story short, I never thought having a female stick her finger up your pooper could be so uncomfortable. She put on an exam glove and quickly stuck it in all the way to the hilt. My first reflex was to clench my cheeks, but I already had an asscrack full of knuckles, and she was in as far as she could go. It wasn't painful, but very invasive and uncomfortable like a rectal exam. She didn't take her finger out of me until I relaxed because she figured I might push the suppository back out. It helped my nausea tremendously, but in either case, I think an enema nozzle inserted twice as far still wouldn't be as uncomfortable.

I like the sensation of suppository insertion and ensuing wait to see what happens, but nothing can beat the good old enema feeling!

Enemas take more time and the use of a bulb provides the opportunity to have a number of nossel insertions and to have the patient fill the bulb when it is emptied. But there is something very nice about the feeling of inserting a suppository deep in a tight, wiggling bottom. Nothing like the feeling of warmth and resistance you get.

Mother likes to stick soap suppositories up my backside. She would keep her finger in me moving the soap around in my hole. I don't remember where I read about someone who had to carve a plug from a bar of Ivory soap shaped to fit the anus like a ginger root. The plug had to be the full width of the bar of soap. I think that giving someone some Dulcolax supps and some glycerin supps and then putting in the Ivory plug in should produce some good begging from your patient.

Suppositories are a good alternative when the situation does not allow the activities surrounded by a proper enema session, however, only as a teaser for what is to come...

Both enmas and suppositories work, however I believe an enema will do a more through job. I think the key to a good enema is the time. A enema in a hurry is never as effective and enjoyable. To prepare for, and relax while taking an enema is the key, the more you relax for an enema, the more it will relax you. Suppositories are for me when I don't feel like preparing an enema and am a little tired.

When time is short, a suppository is great. Produces intense sensations, and is very pleasureable. Not as relaxing as an enema though. So agree fully with others on this one.

I like both, but since I never got enemas, when I was a child, suppositories bring memories and are more exciting to me.

My spouse and I prefer suppositories to enemas. We enjoy the initial feeling of nothing (spouse) or fullness (me).

The feeling of fullness is uncomfortable to me, but, eventually that feeling subsides. I've learned that the loss of that feeling is the "calm before the storm", in that a few minutes later, I can feel the propulsive contractions start. This happens because the first effect of bisacodyl is to stop the contraction of the non-propulsive circular muscles. Then it causes contractions of the linear, propulsive muscles.

I love the change in feeling, and the gradual increase in the strength of the contractions., until they become irresistible. I love the feeling of my sphincter gradually becoming increasingly hard to close, because of the relaxation reflex caused by the bisacodyl.

I love the slow, irresistible, relatively non-messy forced defecation onto the pad or into the diaper, that sometimes happens as my spouse cuddles me.
