Startled by a comment

Have you ever been startled or turned on by an inappropriately sexual or personal comment during an exam? What was it? How did you feel?

It wasn't overtly sexual or personal, but it was kind of bizarre given the situation. And it was something of a turn-on. I am an amputee, and I have had a great deal of trouble getting a proper fit for my prosthesis. Last month, I went to a new prosthesist. Because my medplay partner was in town at the time, he came to my appointment with me. It was a very interesting and exciting experience for both of us; he was sitting in a chair in the exam room, and I was sitting on the exam table with my legs dangling over the side.

After asking me a million and one questions, and taking all kinds of measurements and pictures, the prosthesist asked if I was ready to go ahead and and have a cast taken for a new leg. Why not? As he was preparing to take the cast, he pulled on a pair of green latex gloves. Anyone who has read my previous posts knows that the sound of latex gloves "does it" for me. The prosthesist looked over at me and said "Am I making you nervous?"

It was all I could do not to look over at the love of my life and start giggling like a schoolgirl, and I could tell he was having a hard time not saying anything either. All I could say was "No, not nervous..." and let it go at that. We still chuckle about that, and wonder if perhaps the prosthesist is not a medfetter as well!

Okay, maybe you had to be there!

I had a female doing my gyno exam...many years ago...

and she used the speculum and announced everything was nice and pink and my cervix was very nice and also pink

needless to say this was all a bit weird!
