This topic is rehashed on a some what regular basis and still there is a great deal of miss miss-understanding....so here is what i know to be true.::
1)THE normal electrolyte (salt) content of blood is 0.9% by weight- 9 grams per liter (approx 2 tea spoons)...enemas with low electrolytes cause water to be absorbed and salts are removed from the blood,,, excess salt in the enema will draw water out of the blood and cause salt to be absorbed......
1A)Electrolytes are needed by the body include sodium, potasium, magnesium, calcium..and a few other trace elements.....
2)The colon lining is capable of 2-way transfer of water & electrolytes - that is toxins, water and salt all transfer in or out of the colon based on osmotic pressure-density....
3)The colon can normally transfer/absorb 1/2 to 1 liter per hour...studies have been done that show blood electrolyte levels before, during and after colonic irrigation (repeated filling and draining for 60 minutes) using pure water, that shows no significant changes in electrolyte levels during the test..
4)Retention enemas have been used as a form of dialysis throughout history and even now in third world countrys because is does not require the sterile conditions required by hemodialysis. In other words, the enema may be retained for long periods if desired if properly understood...
5)Enemas by definition desolve and mobilize toxins that are present in the colon,, and if allowed to be reabsorbed can make a person ill..
6)Persons who have done several enemas over a period of several hours have upset their electrolye balance with desasterous results..edema(swelling of the brain) and cardiac arrest can result..
7)Persons with normal kidney function will quickly remove excess water..thats why folks pee a lot after their enemas...
😎Soap is a hot topic with people lined up on both sides of it...personally, I quit using soap years ago when I discovered that I could actually taste the soap because I had absorbed it from the enema,, yuk!----the only reason for soap is to irritate the colon..(which is a way helps to minimize water retention by causing cramps)..soap is not needed for disolving wastes..
9)The colon has no digestive enzymes but it can absorb most any liquid used as an enema. Herbal teas, juices, coffee, and live yogurts, have all been used for implant enemas after the colon has been flushed out.
10)When the colon is distended/expanded (intra-abdominal pressure) by the enema it stimulates the autonomic nerves system and increases peristalsys..the vagus nerve connects to every internal organ and to the "lizard brain"...
just a few things to consider...
btw-is anyone in oregon?
