It isn't hard to walk with, but it sure takes some getting used to. The best thing is to try for a short time and work up to longer. I like to use belts to hold it in. As you wear one your bottom gets used to it and they tend to slip out.

Just started (after all these years of enemas!) using a butt plug. Sometimes insert it myself (with or without an enema up there) but it's really best when my partner slowly puts it in me after giving the enema. I think the feeling is great and so far I don't need anything to hold it in - maybe the time will come.

And it's not that hard to walk with it in; I've even thought about going shopping wearing it.

I make my girlfriend wear butt plug some Saturdays all day just to prepare her for later activities. And she wears a butt plug, if she is going to retain the enema for more then 10 minutes.

And we do not practice it every Saturday, I like to change our entertainment, so we don't get bored of same old, same old issue.

However, butt plug is used also to help her retain her enema which is a shorter time, but it is still there. Now, other then double balloon rectal catheter. I could not find any plug that is leak free or can handle the inner pressure. A complete seal does not seem to be possible ???

Have you tried the silicone butt plugs by Tantus? One of my favorites to use is the one called the Ryder. Instead of a round base like alot of plugs that cause irration on the sides, the ryder has no sides and fits snuggly in the butt crack. If you go to the stockroom site, you can see an array of butt plugs that are better designed. I would like to try out the one called the jollies or "The Luna". According to the description on that one, it stays in place quite well due to it's design.

I've found that some of the plugs are not the best designed at the base. They like to pinch and make long wearing uncomfortable. Maybe I just haven't found the better designed ones.

A well designed plug is pleasant to wear and is a reminder that you are submissive to things anal. i have a friend who feels complete with her plug after a long enema series. you have to be well lubed and not use it every day, as any anal irritation internaly is not good.

I think the point (no pun) about the oblong base is very important as well as size overall. I've seen plugs with a round base and can't imagine how that could be comfortable. The oblong fits the natural shape of the rear end and is better for long term use, especially sitting down with it in there.

I have created a home made harness with two belts to help my girl to keep her butt plug in place. I use silicon butt plug with a small base for less irritation as well.

Hi, when you say a harness, do mean a belt around her waist and one running from the front of that one under her ass onto the back of it with the butt plug joined on in the middle of it ?

Someone (Doc Johnson?) makes a plug with a hole in the middle. Not much use for helping hold an enema, but it lets some of the pressure out if you're wearing it for an extended time. The diaper would help here. The base is formed to fit nicely in the crack and there are even little handles to help with removal.

I also plug long term. I usually cant use them to retain an enema, what can I say I'm a wimp. I do however wear plugs for fun and anal training. I'm packing to go out of town for a few days and was getting my enema and diaper supplies together. I am doing this at 2am and want to give myself a clean out before I go. I mix up my usual 2 liter baking soda enema and lay on the floor and get started. I open the valve and almost immediately start cramping. So now its about 3:15 am. I pump up my butt plug a few more times to really start stretching my anus. I then go outside for about a 4 block walk around the neighborhood. as I'm walking the enema is working and slowly starts wanting out. it's pushing out the butt plug, so I add a few more pumps. this helps it stay in a little more. I keep walking, but my body is trying to expel the enema and is pushing harder against the butt plug so I keep pumping a little more as I go.

Boy am I being stretched open. The walking is is also causing the butt plug to migrate out and open me up even more. this causes my rectum to push harder, so I have to pump some more and so on.

By the time I get back to the house and get to the bathroom, I have now 40 pumps in the butt plug. My body is trying to get it out even harder now. I have used one of those bendy plastic hair curlers that come in a set or can be bought individually. They are made of hardish plastic but will bend in any direction and are so flexible that they will not hurt the rectum. They are about the girth of a finger and come in about 8 inch lengths. The only drawback is that they can be rather rough on the molding (only slightly) and they sometimes have small holes drilled in them so this makes them a little hard to clean.

Wow, quaips, you wouldn't catch me inserting a 1/4" glass rod rectally then going about my business. The damage it could do if it broke seems to far outweigh the arousal factor. Consider such mundane occurrences as a minor car accident, falling off one's chair, or simply stumbling and landing 'wrong.'

I hope you'll consider something which doesn't break into shards capable of cutting flesh in the worst-case scenario. A craft and hobby store probably has all kinds of safer possibilities. Seek something of hardened rubber, perhaps?
