Plnbrnwrppr,
You aren't the only one who had the door to med-fetish opened by an interest in enemas. Contrary to what has been mentioned in this thread, your question is right where it's supposed to be.
My interest started with having rectal temps and enemas at a young age, the trigger was the stimulation that occurred when a thermometer/nozzle/finger was inserted into my rectum,I became aroused and erect long before I understood what it actually was. As a result of the anal eroticism and the clinical/medical association, I eventually progressed to be aroused by medical devices that are inserted into the rectum. In my late adolescence & early teens, I made the connection that gently inserting a sterile & lubed thermometer most of the way into my urethra had profoundly arousing results. Being obviously concerned about using glass and the risk of breakage, I eventually progressed to using catheters,in my late teens and young adult years, I started learning about sounds.
In the present, I have several assorted rectal/anal scopes, specula, sounds, including an antique functioning, usable, sterilizable e-stim J shaped urethral probe/sound along with a very nice battery operated variable power supply. For me the trigger and/or excitement is focused on medical devices and procedures that cause physical arousal in me or a companion when gently and thoroughly used. This is in addition to enemas, which chronologically in my life, came after the first rectal temps, enemas second before any of the other interests developed. Enemas were at one time in the U.S. & world wide considered to be a bonafide medical procedure and the equipment to be definitive medical devices. It is much less so today, although not completely both here and world wide. My pleasure/arousal revolves around the above mentioned, as mentioned in my profile, I do not enjoy men,s&m,bd or dom/sub, blood sports, pain or needles. That is a statement that goes to how my particular med-fet has manifested, as has been mentioned before, we have representation from a wide variety of med-fet interest here. There are times that I use medical devices instead of enemas, sometimes in conjunction with them. Sometimes solo, sometimes partnered. For me,it is not embarrassment, submissiveness or the degree of, humiliation, or dominance, it is the physical sexual stimulation that comes from using medical devices and the joy of sharing it with a woman who is like minded & providing her pleasure when opportunity presents.
