Realism is needed to convince the patient that they arent in control and only then can the doctor/nurse get into the more sexual areas since the patient will agree if they believe they need it.

A realistic setting is definitely a must for me. I can`t imagine playing a clinical scenario in someone`s living room without any proper equipment.

A realistic setting is vital. After all, this is all about playing out a medfet fantasy.

However, there is nothing unrealistic in a setting where a doctor makes a home call. When it comes to realism, it is perhaps in just this setting that a doctor can be realisticly expected to be alone and reasonably private with a patient.

The passion of the moment also is real enough, and so nothing can be wrong in going a little outside of the roleplay when this seems to be a really good idea for everyone involved. Making small alterations to a strictly realistic setting might sometimes even be just the thing that makes the realism of it really interesting.

I have attended a few exams in very realistic set-ups & it has made them noticably better

I had a dr. appt recently and I wondered that too. How many people like it to be more realistic ? Brochures, posters, stirrups, trash cans, etc. Maybe even a waiting area

The more reality you put in the examination scene and scenery the less it would look like one of our simple daydreams.

When I was in my late 20's, I dated a physicians assistant. He worked late hours so it wasn't unusual for him to tell me to pick him up at the clinic's back door and he'd jump in my car and we'd go get something for dinner. (By the way, he closed the clinic. When his shift was over, the clinic closed - literally, for the night.) After our little dinner dates were over and I'd take him back to the clinic to get his car and he'd often ask me in to visit just a bit before going home. We always just chatted in his office and he was so straight laced! After I got to know him better, one night, I told him it was a shame to waste such an atmosphere, you know when we had so many things at our fingertips to play with. He looked at me sort of naughty and asked what I had in mind. I said, well, you know, we could play around on one of those gynecology tables. Of course, I had much more in mind, but I was kind of feeling him out. He was such a goody, goody, he had no earthly idea what I was hinting around at. GOOD GOD, he truly was clueless. I told him he could examine me and prescribe all sorts of things. He asked what I meant. I said, anything you want to prescribe! He legitimately asked if I wasn't feeling well, like there was something to doctor, and I laughed and said, oh I'm quite well. I could tell by the look on his face he hadn't a clue. I was so hoping he'd be chomping at the bit and just be simmering for me to give him a hint that I liked medical fetish stuff. What a freaking waste! He wasn't into "playing around" in the clinic. Of course, we'd clean up and leave things in tip top shape when we were done (or, shall I say, when I was done) and I would be completely adult about it. He missed a stellar chance to do a lot of kinky stuff with a true medical fetish fantasy princess and he was too dense to jump on board. I think back every so often to that dumb fellow and think, I should have really pushed the envelope with him and not let the chance pass by to "play" in a real clinic. But you know, it would have been way more fun to play by myself then have old stodgy pants in tow because he was clueless, socially/sexually dense, and an all around nerd. It's no fun playing around (any time of play) with someone like that. We didn't date very long before I said, "See ya!" I wonder if he's ever thought back on my hints and realized he missed out. I cannot say I missed out by NOT messing around with him, but I do lament that I didn't get a key made to that clinic!

Meridiancarp, what a story and a waste of fun. I would love to have a little clinic available to play around. This guy must been grown up somewhere on a farm. But, I have to say before the Internet, people wouldn't know about this stuff. I still remember, when I got really into Med-Fet, about 25-30 years ago, I did not know how to play. Today, I have so many medical instruments, I could open a urology clinic myself.

A gyno table fitted with stirrups and restraints but with bedding of a regular bed for use as birthing table .soft pillows to sink her head in while safely on oxygen mask a full floor to ceiling screen for hypnosis videos plenty of eye sleep masks and a set of relaxation by video playing goggles and a few sets of noise canceling headphones. for bdsm love or birthing room use

Something about the control/ loss of control during surgery just works for me, well in the fantasy realm that is! I can't stand actual surgery, it makes me sick

But back to topic if I could have multiple rooms I would want an exam room, prep room and of course and ICU to care for the patient post-op 😜

I'm with Medicfun on this. An OR would be my centerpiece, but if you have an OR, you need pre-op and recovery. Between those three rooms, you can engage in almost any fantasy. I also relish the loss of control embodied by the operating room, both as the patient and surgeon.

In my play hospital, there are both video recorders and optional mirrors or video monitors so the players, and especially the patient, can see live and also review the action later.

For all my Zity Friends who work and, or live in New York.... A number of years ago I made the acquaintance of a young woman, who is an RN named Jasmine. She operated a facility specifically dedicated to Medical Fetish and Med Role PLay with some exam rooms equipped better than those in my office/clinic. I had chance to also meet some of her girls. All of them are fully trained in most every medical procedure you can imagine for an office setting, and are actually quite adept at things.

I am not certain that she and her facility are still around, but, if you want to talk realistic, this place would be it.

I would like my playroom to be like a bdsm dungeon. I get enough of hospital scenarios at work.

For me, the whole setting needs to be realistic, professional, and correct. While some folks will look at med play as simply changing to have sex. I need realism and a realistic setting.

My setting of choice is the Operating Room. For as long as I can remember, back to childhood, every time we played doctor, someone went to sleep. As a switch, sometimes it's me, sometimes I'm holding the mask or scrubbing in.

Ah Chip if you only knew how dreary the OR really is. It goes on and on, hour after hour and nowhere to sit down. Unlike Halloween parties everyone is dressed up in the same costume. The endless scrubbing! Thank god some surgeons play CDs now. I'm going to probably incur some wrath from Susie here. (I actually do enjoy operating but have had limited opportunities to do it. Just holding retractors is not my idea of a good time.)

Yes the more realistic the better. Actual staff dressed up real instruments and real exam tables

Trying to set the scene, i like the details, I printed a few medical diagrams off, of male genitalia, and pinned them up! 😃

Havent found a gown yet, unless I buy something online... Pharmacies dont seem to have anything similar...

My only advice is...MAKE IT REAL. To me the whole experience starts with the room and the realism. It should be bright. it should be kind of chilly. Very medical, sterile. Not a bedroom or a room with personal items in it. i personally like the idea of a massage table instead of the new style exam chairs - it reminds me of the days when i was a kid at the pediatrician. The room was light green, linoleum tile floor, table was brown, desk and cabinets were white. funny how i can remember every detail...even after 50 years.

EKG and ultrasound machines are musts

Man, I would love to be able to play somewhere like that. Realistic exam room with a table and stirrups. Bright light to shine on my exposed crotch. Just thinking about it gives me shivers.

I think they have places available to members and/or for rent in some larger cities. But I don't think there's anywhere in Kansas like that.
