Doctor appt ?

Has anyone ever got diaper sample from there dr. I have a nerogenic bladder and get a rush getting sample from the medical supply stores i was thinking of next time while at the uroligist forgetting to pack diapers in my bag and ask him if they have any it is in a hospital and they use the hospital grade Attends like i have said in other post i have grown to like diapers idon't know why i wonder if it is a part of excepting my condition

Hey srg. yes i have done this many of times . The time being yesterday at the hospital 2-5-09. the hospital only know's i am incontinent and does not know i am night time now only. Things have gotten better since the last time i was in the hospital. Well long story short i wore my diapers there for the exam and the nurse had to change me beofre i left my back and shoulder were in alot of pain (work accident), seeing i wasnt able to move to well to do so myself at the time. So of course teh nurse comes back with attends wich like anyway always a good diaper, but these were yellow backed diapers !!!! i remember when they were blue diapers but never yellow. Well needless to say i wore them back home and by the time i got back to my house i was wet. as far as you liking diapers now becuase you feel guilty about it seeing you need them, dont worry i am the same way i hate the fact i need them but love the fact i wear them . and i think your right about its a way of copeing with our problem , kinda lets the mind go free and just enjoy things we know we shouldnt in life. ahh well jsut woke up and need a diaper chnage once again peed a river last night good thing i doubled up and put on my plastic pants.

Does anyone have this problem with their doctor? Mine knows I wet the bed and wear diapers. For the past year I've had day time problems and wear disposable undewear during the day. I'm at the age (over 40) for regular prostate exams so my doctor has seen my disposable underwear but my problem with my doctor. She knows I wear diapers to bed but every single visit she asks me haow many times a night a get up to pee. My reply is usally "UMMMM... none?

Since I wear 24/7 my doctors know it. At one doctor appointment, I went in with a Foley and leg bag. Before they did a bladder test on me, they took it out. Once done, I told them I didn't have any protection with me that it was in the car. They gave me a pull-up diaper and some catheters. They gave me catheters because I have bladder retention and didn't bring any with me not knowing if I was going to have a Foley put back in.

When I am asked how many times I get up during the night, I tell them I wear a diaper at night so I don't any more, but if I didn't have a diaper on, it would be 3 to 4 times a night most nights.
