I am glad to see there are others turned on by the smell of plastic pants. When I was a boy it was common to have a rubber sheet, not a plastic one, a toddler or baby bed. Some mothers used rubber sheets with flannel bonded to both sides, they would tend to be more absorbent instead of just waterproof. I had a childhood playmate when I was about 7 or 8 years old, that had a younger sisiter, probably 3 or 4, that still wet the bed. When playing at his house, I used to love to find reasons to go in her room. She had one of those little toddler beds, the matress had a red rubber sheet on it that was just under the top sheet. Her mother did not wash the bedding everyday, so the room always had that sweet ferminted urine smell, which was very attractive to me, even though I didn't know why. The bedding was usually pulled back so that the sheet could dry, but the closer you got to the bed the stronger the smell got. The bedding was generally still damp. A few times when I was there, the sheets had been removed for laundering and just the rubber sheet was on the bed, which also was a big turn on.
The other reason I loved to go in that room was because of the diapers and plastic pants in that room. The room had obviously been the nursery, and the combo infant bath and dressing table were still in that room. The common thing in those days was to have these tables with a hinged top, under the hinged top there was a small rubber bath tub that was used for giving baby baths. When the top was hinged closed it made a table top for diapering and dressing. Underneath the tub section there were shelves for storing diapers, plastic pants, and the infant tee shirts that had little tabs, that moms would pin to the diaper to keep it from riding up on the baby's tummy.
This dressing table in this girls room was well stocked with diapers, in those days everyone used cloth, (there were no disposables), and plastic pants. The most popular were the Gerber pull ons, not many people used the snap on, although my mother actually had some true rubber snap on diaper covers that she used on me.
Anyway seeing the diapers and plastic pants stacked up on the dressing table was a big turn on also. It was common not to wash the plastic pants between each diaper change, mom would just pull the plastic pants down around your knees and put a dry diaper on and pull them back up. This practice allowed the plastic pants to get very fragrant. One time when I was there in the winter, and I had long underwear on, I managed the get a pair of the plastic pants, and after taking off my pants, I pulled them on over my long underwear. The girls mother came in and caught me. After that, whenever I went there to play the girls bedroom door was closed and locked. What a disappointment!
