Since my mother would prevent me in some way, some how from out right buying an enema bag, I improvised. So, what I did was I bought a siphon pump. I used a pot, filled it with some water and tried not to hurt myself too bad inserting the sharp end of the cut tube into my rectum. Well, I still managed to make my self bleed and I only got maybe 16 oz into myself with that method. I should have gotten more, but because the intake pipe of the pump kept moving every time you pumped it, it would come out of the pot and then I would not get any water. It probally would have worked better if I had a better water source. Later on I pumped some gas with the pump and that put an end to any enemas with it after that.
Here is the other way I tried one of my first enemas- a funnel. I just bought a blue funnel from the local Wal-Mart or Auto Parts store and tried to use that to administer the enema. Standing on your head in the bath tub with a funnel sticking out of your ass and a water bottle in your hand would have been a hell of a site. It would have been hard to explain to my mother if she walked at the time. I only think I got a few oz in there, maybe 8 ot 10 max with that method.
The siphon pump is better of the two evils though. If I made a nozzle out of some aluminum stock on a lathe with a barb on the end of it so the tube would stay on it, the enema would have been much more pleasurable. So basically, if you use a siphon pump, make sure it has a smooth nozzle on it.
For the funnel, I really do not recommend it at all. Because if you have any back flow... Gravity wins and it goes all down your body. Not good at all. It is certainly more comfortable than a sharp hose though.
My word to people is to probably not try these methods if you already have a bag.
Tell us with was equipment your first enema was administered with. Has anyone ever tried a funnel or siphone pump before and had success? What do you think? I think I should invest in a $20 2 qt. enema bag.
