I have a few specific 24/7 diaper wear questions that may not be able to be answered by one poster, but here I go:
A little background: I am diapering my 21 year old girlfriend, who will be starting to wear 24/7 gradually. They are not for medical use, she dose wear plastic panties and plans to wear a onesie. She will ONLY be wetting, not messing.
Questions:
1) She is wearing Tranquility All Through the Night Diapers, that hold 28 oz. We've tested the capacity with warm water and it sure holds a lot. She is a very light pee'r. In a day, she wouldnt barely fill up a regular sized dixie cup. She probably only pee's 4 times a day. Would she be able to wear one diaper for the entire day (about a 12-14 hour period awake plus sleep)?
2) She was asking me if she could just user her diaper for when she has her period. Should she also be using pads or will the diaper be enough? If she does this, should she change it every few hours?
3) I was thinking we should try cloth diapers when she was staying with me. We probably wont use them when we are around a lot of people, as, they are quite bulky and big. But i figured, we can try them when at home and save disposable diapers. So, if we do use them, how many times can she wet them? How often should they be changed? Also, where is a good spot to put "used" ones? or should they be washed ASAP?
Also... is there a such thing as a cloth diaper that ISNT very bulky? I doubt it but I figured id ask!
Thanks!
Mike
