Paraphimosis - tight foreskin getting stuck?

Paraphimosis is an acute medical condition when a rather tight foreskin, after having been pulled/pushed back, becomes stuck behind the corona of the penis glans so it cannot (or at least only hardly) be moved forward to cover the glans again. In some cases a doctor has to be seen to free the foreskin from being stuck.

Have you ever experienced this condition yourself, or have you heard of anybody who experienced it?

If yes, how did this condition occur? Was it possible to solve the situation oneself, or was it required to see a doctor? Did any suggestion or consequence result from the situation?

Note that in strong cases paraphimosis can result in the strangulation of the blood circulation of the glans, hence this can result in a medical emergency case requiring immediate help of a medical professional to avoid severe health issues.

In those cases you have to be quick. Apply pressure to the penis with your hand and try to put the foreskin back into place.

If you can't, go to the emergency room immediately, the sooner the better.

The doctor will try to put the foreskin in its place, if he cannot, he will give you two options, one is to cut the foreskin just enough to open it more and the other is the more radical emergency circumcision.
