The cost of diapers has been mentioned before. However, as we all deal with inflation, lower in the U.S. than many other Western nations but we still pay. It has varied reasons; some probably unavoidable, some likely built into our economic system, and some most assuredly pure greed. We, the collective consumers, do have a little control available to us. We give our government very little power to control it. Restaurants seem to be one of the higher inflated businesses. News flash-we don’t have to eat out, or not as often, or not at the most overpriced. Stop supporting, likely they’ll find a fare we are willing to pay. Now some here need diapers; some there is just a strong feeling of need;the point is most of us will not give up our diapers. Still we have options. Simple math. How many diapers (let’s say a day) do you use? (A) What is the cost of that diaper? (B) AXB=X How many days do you wear ? (C). ? CXX=Y. Per day, or week or whatever. Where might we save. (And maybe lower some costs of product). If you use a store brand you might be paying as little as $2 each; the online ‘quality’ diapers $3to over$4. Yes they are nicer, cuter, and possibly you wear fewer. Options; if multiple daily changes perhaps the store brand actually works ; cloth (initial expense heavy but how many washes does a cloth diaper survive? Multiply by number of disposables you would need to cover all the washes. Even figuring plastic panties and laundry you are probably saving. For times when disposables are just too practical to pass up combine options. This is too long already and you all probably ‘got it’ even before I wrote this; but quick personal example; if I wore only online disposable I would be paying I would be paying somewhere between $1500 to $3500 a year-that’s a lot of cloth diapers with delightful plastic panties.
