Year born and are you circumcised or not!

When I started in L&D about 80 - 85% of the males were circumcised, When I retired the number was probably between 50 to 55%, I can also tell you that there are some parents who have had their sons foreskin customized with design cuts. The first time I saw a doctor make a special "design cut" I thought the parents were crazy, and to this day think it is weird. Unless corrected, those guys are in for some interesting experiences and conversations. As the old woman said as she kissed the cow "To each their own." Weigh your decisions carefully.

I think this observation neatly answers the recurring question of whether circumcision is mostly medical need or just social fashion. But a 'weird design cut' inflicted on an unconsenting child, setting him up for 'interesting experiences' ever after? My only question is who should go to jail first, the parents or the surgeon.

Born 2001. Uncut although my dad (b. 1968 ) was cut. I would not consider circumcising any future children of mine. In America, I find many of the problems associated with having foreskins (infections, odors, etc.) are caused by the cultural norm of circumcision. I did not know how to properly wash my penis and was not encouraged to do so until I was in high school. This was because my father was cut and so did not have the same anatomy as me. A lot of these problems could be solved if we as a society just had more open conversations and less conservative attitudes about our own bodies.

Born in 1983. I was circumcised after birth. I have had no problems and I am happy with it. As a gay male, I don’t think I’ll have kids. But if I did, I am unsure if I would have them circumcised…

My real Dad was from Mexico and didn’t want it done to me. My half brother, who my real Dad had with his 2nd wife in 1992, was not circumcised.

I have had a few guys I have dated who have been uncircumcised. They were all a few years younger then me.
