I will typically send my patient a text message, out of the blue, that she is scheduled for an appointment. I usually send it 30 days prior to the appointment, but at least two weeks prior. It usually looks something like this….
This is a message for @Sexy_Librarian from the medical office of DrFn and Associates.
You are scheduled for a full physical and gynecological exam with DrFn on Sunday, March 17, at 4:00 PM.
This will be a lengthy and extensive exam, and will include several stimuli response tests.
It is advised that the patient be well rested prior to the visit and allow plenty of time in her schedule for the full exam.
You must refrain from any sexual activity for seven days prior to the appointment.
DrFn looks forward to seeing you and taking care of all your feminine health needs.
……Then at various times I will send follow up appointment reminders, via text, up to the day of appointment.
Two days prior to the exam, I email her the new medical and sexual history forms to be filled out and emailed back.
When I’m in character as DrFn, I AM DrFn, not @Sexy_Librarian’s hubby. Her hubby sometimes text her to let her know he has called DrFn to schedule her for an appointment. Sometimes not. As her hubby, I always instruct her that she is to follow DrFn’s instructions, or in other words, be in submission to him. She is to allow him to perform whatever exam or test he deems necessary.
