LADIES: What did you wear to an appointment that was hard to take off while undressing?

What did you wear to an appointment that was hard to take off while undressing? Did someone walk in on you? What did you do?

Like a lot of ladies here I tend not to wear anything hard to take off... Closest I have come is tight fitting jeans... I usually wear a dress and sandals.

@leotardlover I don't like to say it because there is no such thing as a stupid question. But what were you thinking that brought this one on?

One time I had a coat on because it was storming and we didn't even have time to sit in the lobby before we were called back. I could not get that coat unzipped and neither could my sister. I took it off over my head. Does that count? I always wear scrubs. Easy on and easy off.

Usually in the winter I wear multiple layers…it takes a little bit to get undressed but I don’t wear anything that is too difficult to take off

I’ve never wore clothes that were hard to take off. But I have had things that I wanted to keep wrinkles and creases out of. So I spent more time than necessary folding them.

I work from home now and just wear whatever there. One less thing you have to worry about.

I wear what's most comfortable 😌 I'm more of a casual kind of gal but that usually entails shorts and a tank top...maybe a dressier top than my isual spaghetti strap at home.

I don't think too much into it other than if I'm seeing our chiropractor. When we see him, I wear my workout clothes but I ensure I don't wear too short of shorts or anything too revealing since he has to intimately maneuver my body.

My Wife wears a dress because she only has to take panties off as in the UK you only have the pap test. For her pelvic ultrasound she wore a skirt so that se didn't have to undress for the abdominal part and only panties off for the transvaginal part. Undressing is always minimal in the UK. Although for her first one, she wore jeans and a jumper. She was first told to take everything of from the waist down and lay on the table with a sheet covering her lower half. The nurse then did a breast exam (the only time she has had one). She had to remove her jumper and bra so she ended up totally naked with just a sheet on her bottom half. After this experience she always wore a dress or skirt. At her las exam, the only chair in the room was on the other side of the privacy curtain which is where she left her hand bag. This meant that when she removed her panties she had no where to put them, so ended up holding them. She found this quite embarrassing.

I wear wrap dresses to summer appointments. Easy on. Easy off.

In winter it’s dresses and skirts and boots. If my dress is on and I’m still putting on tights when someone comes in, oh well.

I have long hair. Years ago, on a rainy day, they called me back when I'd just arrived and told me to undress and put on the gown. Fine--except my hair had somehow managed to wrap around and around the shoulder button on my trenchcoat. I couldn't get out of the coat, much less undress. The nurse came in to get my vitals and we laughed at my predicament. She gave a good effort to untangling me, but in the end, she got a pair of bandage scissors and cut the button off.

My oldest daughter got that coat later, and I told her why the one button was sewn on with a different color thread. She has long hair, too, and when she wore that coat, she usually put her hair up with a clip.

I usually dong on my tracky dacks... (sweat pants) and a hoodie. I am not fashion conscious at that time in all honesty.

My Wife always wears a dress.

Her doctor only requires underwear to be taken off if wearing a dress.

I find it so hot when shes wearing her dress and the doctor is looking down there, so much more than a regular paper sheet

This question reminds me of a time when my wife had an appointment for an abdominal ultrasound. I don't know if she never even thought of it or what, but she wore a one piece jumper to the appointment that buttoned up the front. If she'd been wearing jeans and short she could have easily just lifted up her shirt and lowered her jeans slightly, but instead she had to take the entire jumper off. The nurse gave her a little paper drape to cover her legs, but nothing to cover her from the belly button up. The bra she had on was full enough but quite sheer and I could see clear through to her nipples and so could the ultrasound tech. I'll never forget the sight of her lying here is her white, lace trimmed bra with her panties lowered half-way down hips as he squirted green jelly on her abdomen and proceeded to move the handheld ultrasound around her belly.

I was thinking of something like a bodysuit or tights or shapewear that you maybe had to sit down to put on or had hooks at the crotch that you had to reach around to put on.

Occasionally my patients will have worn one-piece or bodysuit-type clothes to their OB visits, and its always a production for them to be able to do the tummy check/check for fetal heart tones with the doppler-- especially in the 3rd trimester! they always wonder what they were thinking- pregnancy brain i guess...

usually if pts. know they need a pelvic exam they dress for the occasion so they don't have to struggle to get changed.
