Overhearing a conversation between a nurse and social worker about the disabled and sexuality in the 90's .

In the 90's my health and mobility took a drastic decline and i had two carers and a social worker with an agency nurse from Nigeria . On a visit just after my carers had left by the nurse and social worker i heard them chatting in my kitchen while having a cup of tea . It revolved around disabled people like me who would get aroused at times while being cleaned or while having a diaper change . Both my carers had no problem with it and the eldest of the two a happily married woman in her 50's . would often oblige me with a wank . I didn't ask and she didn't offer . It was just one of those unspoken things that made my life worth living and she was happy to oblige as she could see that it gave me back some human dignity and made me feel less worthless and socially isolated . The social worker thought that disabled people having sexual needs and getting excited while being cared for was disgusting and humiliating for the carer . Cheapening their caring and sexualizing them . Like some sort of sex robot that washed your bum and behind your ears as well . The nurse a big strong girl from Nigeria felt the same and thought it was very un Christian and a sin . She said it disgusted and angered her that the disabled person was sitting their with their dirty sex polluted minds fixating on their sexual desires when they should have been trying to show some self control and praying that a miracle cure them or that they may be taken by god into heaven . She went on to cheerfully add that a lot of physically and mentally disabled men and boys were castrated to prevent this and stop their evil dirty thoughts and secretions . Any female in this position though seemed to be fair game as it was compensation for the male carer looking after and taking on the burden . After hearing them talk about it i recorded some of their conversations while they took over my kitchen and had cups of my tea and ate my Jaffa cakes . The recording i sent to the head of the nursing agency and the head of social work and never saw or heard from either the nurse or social worker again . In fact my new social worker would pop round for a brew and bring cake or biscuits to have with our chats . No more being treated like i was some sub human pervert . No talking about me or talking about my most intimate feelings and basic human needs as if i wasn't there in my own house .

What a terrible situation to be forced on you!! Well done for reporting the toxic nurses and getting rid of them!!

Hopefully, you can get the “kind” nurse back, who is sophisticated enough to understand and relieve you of the sexual tension!!
