Who has had a bowel resection?

I'm curious as to when you started doing enemas after the resection if you did. I seem to remember a couple of folks who had this and began taking enemas and/or colonics again.

The questions:

1. How long did you wait after your surgery?

2. If you adjusted quantity of fluid or recipe, how did you do that?

3. Did you discuss this with your physician or surgeon?
