Ultrasounds

What stories do you have about ultrasounds? They can be real life stories, from play exams, or fantasies. Cardiac, abdominal, pelvic, whatever your heart desires to share!

Real Life: I had a couple of abdominal ultrasounds for gallbladder related issues. Definitely found it interesting how you can discern structures based on the sound "echo" that comes back. Not something that "turned me on" but very cool none the less.

Fantasy: I would love a very thorough cardiac assessment that included auscultation, ECG, and ultrasound of my heart at baseline and then during exercise. It would be very cool to watch it beating while hearing it beat at the same time. Doppler ultrasound would be awesome too for the arteries. The doctor would also have to assess cardiac function during stimulation; the doctor would ultrasound and doppler the corpus cavernosum and the arteries therein, along with watching and listening to the heart through and after orgasm.

My wife had transcranial Doppler ultrasounds repeatedly to monitor the velocity of blood flow following a stroke (SAH) as an indicator for vasospams. More recently, an ultrasound of her mildly inflamed gallbladder

I had several ultrasounds two years ago to check and monitor DVTs in my leg. Imaged from my groin (kind of tickled) down to my ankle. The tech never took her eyes off the monitor!
