Passing gas while plugged?

Can you do it? This is an issue for long term wearing. Is it always just gas? I'm always concerned about ending up with a mess.

You will learn the subtile difference. I pass gas frequently with no serious problems and I wear all day and all night a lot.

I can usually tell if its gas or "the real thing". Gas is easy (for me) to expel. I just move the plug to one side and the gas will usually escape around it. If its more than gas, the plug will hold it for a while, but its best to find a toilet to take care of the problem ASAP. While wearing my plug, I always carry a small zip-lock plastic baggie to put my plug into if I have such an "emergency" come up. I can then put it in my pocket and no one will know a thing.

Yes, I have farted around plugs when i have been outside and plugged - I am always very careful as the bottom can only tell its not solid... could catch you out. Never had a plug come out with a fart, so that is good. Have had one slip out whilst out though, that was not fun 😄

So yes I’ve let some gas out while plugged many times, sometimes they slowly slide out, sometimes I gotta lean a little and slide the plug over a little for it to slide on out !! I have sneezed a few times and whatever I had in me slipped right on out. I thought it was hilarious !! That’s only happened at home thankfully !!

It's not difficult to fart when plugged, but the whole town is going to hear it.

Yes, you can fart while plugged. No real difference. I’ve never had any problems.

I should have stated, "with a large fat plug." It seems to be more difficult when I've got a plug in that's 2½" diameter or larger..

All I can say is I wear a plug for hours all day and out in public many times. I occasionally need to pass gas and I let it go carefully without any problems. Only ONE time in 50 years did passing gas shoot the plug out and of course I was walking across a crowded parking lot wearing loose shorts and no underwear so course there it was on the pavement. Just picked it up and kept walking. I wouldn't get stressed out about it. Stay reasonably clean and really is not an issue.

I’ve done it a few times without losing the plug. I never know when it might happen of course, but I actually find it a pleasant experience because the escaping gas around the plug has to go through the tighter than normal anus stretched a bit around the plug neck. An interesting sensation.

That would make sense. Actually, I’m not sure I ever remember hearing them, but they felt like they were taking longer to get out because the sphincter was tighter around the plug neck.
