Anyone ever tried adding docusate sodium to an enema

I have gel tablets I was thinking of dissolving in warm water and adding it to my enema water just to try

I routinely add docusate sodium liquid to my enemas. I use the amount recommended back in the day on the Colace liquid bottle - 5 to 10 ml added to a quart or two of water. I use 10 ml in 1500 to 2000 ml of warm tap water when I am suffering from serious constipation. In my experience, it actually works better than castile soap to produce an evacuation and soften hard stool.

You can purchase several versions of Enemeez micro enema in jars . Twist off the tip express a drop of liquid to lubricate the insertion , squeeze the small bulb to instill the pay load and wait till urge to expel is significant. Enemeez are commercial liquid suppositories containing a mixture of Docusate sodium and the topical anesthetic Lidocaine, who would have thought numbing your ass before a laxative is given will be more effective than just a laxative is making a fortune . Enemeez can be purchased on the internet at places that deal with bowel and bladder products for special needs/ handicapped/ disabled people , for some people these produce a stronger/better/ faster evacuation than generic bisacodyl . I have friends who use 1 a day they get such a fast complete response there is no worries of soiling themselves ( you know the showboats whose diaper is as clean at the end of day as it is when they put it on ) .YMMV .

I personally have never experienced a high level “purgative” type cleaning from use I have seen it work that way for friends .
