Do you get aroused when the doctor talks about your parts?

Like when the doctor is doing an inspection or examination of your parts, and then they talk about your parts to either you, or to an assistant. Or “I’m going to look at your _____ now.”

Do some of you get sexually aroused or horny when the doctor or nurse verbally says things like “your vagina/penis,” “your anus/butthole,” ”your breasts,” etc.? Or even more specific parts like your urethra, clitoris, labia, testicles, nipple, bellybutton, etc.? These are things people do not normally talk to you about, let alone point out. To add on, how do you feel when the doctor is doing the visual inspection on you? What are you thinking about?

For me, I think it just goes back to the fact that they are seeing parts of you most other people never get to see. And now they are talking about these parts, as if they are letting you know that they do, in fact, get to see it.

I was hearing my pediatrician saying: “I’m going to look at your genitals now.” After the exam he compiled a Tanner card describing in loud voice what he observed about my penis, glans, prepuce, frenulum and testicles. It was very arousing and embarassing to have him talking with the assistant about those parts of my body.

One word answer: No.

I m always a bit scared he could comment about my vaginal appearance or my anus…

I've examined tens of thousands of patients and generally tried to carry on a conversation about what I'm doing, partly because I was taught to do it and partly because I think it makes sense in helping the patient remain more comfortable. I confess it never occurred to me that my remarks about a person's anatomy would ever arouse or excite the person. And I can't imagine commenting on the person's anatomy unless I saw something that was clinically relevant. In fact, I'd never even notice something that had no clinical significance.

Yes, especially if it's in a childish way - "I'm just going to have a listen to your tummy", "I'm just going to examine your tummy button" etc.

Speaking to me in a childish way, slang way, unprofessional way etc… With a very sarcastic unimpressed expression and flat voice tone, I will ask the physician etc if they found their degree in a box of Cracker Jacks as a prize. It’s a total turn off.

Yes very much so. I usually wear very modest underwear (the kind that go past my belly button) to my physical so he has to help me pull them down a bit to examine my stomach. When he’s done examining my belly he tells me he has to do a quick examination of my genitalia, as soon as he says that I get turned on and a bit shy. He helps me pull them down. When I’m exposed he comments on my public hair and how its very healthy I keep mine before he begins the exam.

When I still lived in Seattle 25-30 years ago, my physician (who was gay) had a particular way of pronouncing the words "your penis" and "your testes" while examining me, that were sometimes the biggest sex kick of the year for me!

I enjoy (so I'll say arousal as well) when the doc is examining my parts and discussing what he sees. He is normally very thorough, but also very casual in his discussion. I've never had comments on my hair growth (trimmed) but have seen notes of my development level. He has made comments as I've got erect, like "we see it works" and continued on with his exam. When I went had questions about a vasectomy, he was very detailed about what he was checking as gave my testes a highly detailed feel, which I definitely enjoyed.

I think for me (as the original post pointed out) it's a stranger examining and discussing my most intimate parts. I'm finding I enjoy being on display, but it's a step further to be known you're being evaluated as someone feels and discusses your genitals.

Never used to, but since I started reading Zity and in particular the stories around Medfet, my interest is certainly being piqued. And during my last well woman exam I was more aware of the words used than before.

I think I would be, but I dont think a doctor have ever talked about my private parts like that. Maybe when I had a breast exam because of pain, he did... I just had the doctor telling me what he was about to do.

But if I ever experience that a doctor said he is looking at my clitoris, anus etc while examen it, I would enjoy.

Only once many years ago with a comment. Now real exams are what they are and dont bother me, I do tend to switch off during them. Now a play exam ... well ... lol

Talking about my (private) parts with male doctors is slightly embarrassing. With female doctors, it’s moderately erotic.

My answer to this is yes but in a broad sense. I enjoy Dialogue between dr and patient to be a clinical and professional as possible.

The most I’ve had said in a real exam was hernia check or palpate your testes. Never had a full GU exam outside a play exam. In a play exam, the doctor commenting on my genitalia is definitely a turn on though. I love them commenting on, for example, listening to my femoral arteries with the stethoscope and palpating them as I am getting more erect, commenting something like “this is a healthy reaction”.

Rarely do I have those feelings with my gynecologist, but with my naturopathic doctor, we’ve talked in some detail about my enema and GI history. I do find that arousing, particularly when she has told me about her past illness, and how she overcame her fear of enemas and medications that she had to take rectally. I was surprised how open she is about this. I would have NEVER had that conversation with the two male G.I. doctors in my past.

Never had any similar discussions with my real doctors, but in my role as a play doc with my female patients is another story.

I had to see the gynaecologist because sex with my boyfriend was hurting me. So, naturally, I had loads of questions about my lady parts and sex, like "Does it hurt when he goes in or when he moves inside?" The doctor would reply, "We'll take a closer look during the exam," and I knew that meant she'd be checking out my vulva in about 5 minutes.

During the exam, the doctor explained everything she was doing in detail, like "I'm going to touch your entrance now." Surprisingly, it turned out to be a pleasant experience, even though the subject itself made me a little nervous about going there.

During the exam, never as I am pretty embarrassed about being undressed but once I get home then those words are solid triggers that lead to pleasuring myself. That combination of precise and imprecise terminology really turned me on. Even though I was fairly skinny I had what I thought were 'man boobs' that stuck our pretty prominently. In many respects I felt more humiliated to be bare chested than to have my pants off. When I lay down on the exam table she began to touch my breasts and started to talk about how the condition is called gynecomastia and usually goes away by the end of adolescence. She then showed me how to examine my breasts. But the thing I was most turned on by was how she told me that gynecomastia did not make me any less a man even though she understood how your breasts can strip you of confidence, especially when you are in a common changing area like a locker room.

She then went on to say that gynecomastia did not make you any less a man and I loved to hear that and it also helped me to pleasure myself

Not at all. My doctor asks me questions as the physical is completed and I answer the questions and do not get aroused even when she says Penis, Testicles, Prostate, Anus, etc.

Not at a real exam, no, but yes definitely in a play exam. It enhances the whole experience for me.

Inflammation of the mucous membranes, too abrupt entry of your friend, lack of lubrication before the act? What did your gynaecologist tell you?
