So, my testicular cyst has disappeared....

I found a cyst on my left testicle when I was 10 or so and just exploring my body. I mentioned it to my pediatrician (my mom was in the hall) at a summer check-up. He gave it a feel and after discussing it with my mother, referred me to a pediatric urologist.

I saw the urologist once a year for three years. He said it was probably an epiditymal cyst, about 1cm by 2 cm, and said to not worry about it unless something changed.

Fast forward 40 years and one scrotal ultrasound and I'm used to the idea of living with my little buddy for the rest of my days. It's never bothered me or been a concern.

Last Sunday I had some alone time and I was enjoying playing with myself and noticed that I couldn't feel the cyst. I've checked in the shower (with the benefit of a loose scrotum thanks to the warm water) every morning since then and…..nothing. it's just gone.

Anyone else just had a cyst disappear overnight? I didn't feel anything rupture. Didn't have any trauma to the region. I'm not terribly worried about it. I suppose I'll mention it to my GP thus summer at my annual physical and see if he orders another ultrasound. 🤷‍♂️
