I am trying to come to the point as quickly as possible, although these two fantasies need a little background information.
As these words are typed, I am a 55-year-old man. I am also Catholic. There is a young woman who, when she is home from college, attends Sunday mass. As these words are typed, this young woman turned 22 years old within the last week. She is beautiful, and I will say it always makes my day when she speaks to me. There has only been one time that she has spoken to me before first, but she always returns my greeting.
FANTASY # 1:
Is to give this young lady a Cashier’s Check for $1,000.00 as a graduation present when she graduates from the university of the State in which we currently reside in May 2023.
FANTASY # 2:
For this young lady and I, once she graduates, to share a fine dining experience. We’re talking a fine dining experience in which we’re both dressed for the occasion. This would be an old-fashioned fine dining experience at a long table with a uniformed jacket standing by to wait on both of our desires. There would be two long candles on the table and a fine center piece. The meal would end, fittingly, with a hearty serving of chocolate mousse for us both.
Neither of the above fantasies will happen.
WHAT WILL ACTUALLY HAPPEN:
In May 2023, when she graduates, I will give the young lady a Cashier’s Check for $100.00.
