I am talking to a prospective receiver of enemas right now and it’s very exciting. Although I’ve played with enemas myself for over 10 years, I’ve never given one to another person and I have been waiting for this for a while. I feel very confident in my abilities given my experience, but I feel that some tips from such a robust community can’t hurt.

I like my partners to be “dominate” when giving me enemas; but what does being dominate mean? For me, it's simply liking, really liking what they are doing (giving me an enema, and in control of doing that). If they do it just to please me, then that's nambe-bambe and a turn off. Just their liking what they are doing to me is great!

So many variables, so little time!!! How “comfortable” is the recipient with the idea of getting an enema? Has she/he ever had one? If so, how did they feel about it? If not, what do they know about enemas? Are they getting the enema for health reasons, sexual excitement, or some other reason? Here are a couple suggestions for a complete novice:

Have a good idea/plan of what you are going to do.

If a COMPLETE novice, tell them about your experiences with enemas and how you feel about them.

Explain the whole procedure, as you will do it, to them

Begin with a good lube job…I like coconut oil…and gently lube their anus inside and out.

I’ve found that for a first go, a bulb syringe works well; low volume, use a little soap (Castile is good, Ivory is more “traditional” lol), warm water (not hot) and allow them to expel when they feel they need to.

Go slow, be gentle and ask if they are uncomfortable often.

Be careful inserting the nozzle (again, an adult rectal nozzle is good for a first time; save the douche nozzle or anything more exotic for later).

It doesn’t need to be any more complicated than that for a first time. As your partner gets comfortable with the sensations, physical and emotional feelings that go along with an enema, talk first about options before going off the deep end.
