Who likes stomach stething as much as listening to heartbeats and lungs?

I'm a massive stethoscope fan and love using the steth on myself as well as on someone else, like I have had the chance to, on the odd occasion.

I'm happy to be the person using the steth or on the receiving end and it depends on my mood as to which I prefer on any given day. Likewise I love every sound I hear with a stethoscope, heart, lung or stomach and having the cold stethoscope pressed to my skin feels amazing.

Does anyone else love stomach stething as much or more than heart auscultation?

I’m also a fan of the bowel sounds, and moving the stethoscope around the stomach! I’d also be lying if I said I didn’t like sticking in the patients underwear a little to hear the femoral pulses and such.

Oh yes! Especially if I can follow up my auscultation by palpating the patient’s abdomen too!

Love to have the abdomen checked. it has a great sensation. Moving around the stomach.

I love a cold stethoscope on my belly. Palpation and stething that goes on for a very long time is my idea of heaven!! As I get excited by this I would like the doctor pausing to check my heart rate. However, my belly is very sensitive so a stethoscope exam is always welcome.

Its one of the main reasons I love going to see my gf's checkups/physicals/medical exams. Its my favorite part of the exam!

I think it doesn’t take much effort to move a couple of inches from the chest to the abdomen - so absolutel!! 😉

I enjoy stomach stething also. I love lying on my back and having a cold stethoscope slowly moving around all four quadrants on my tummy and then listening to the pulse above my bellybutton. 😃

My x partner and I always played with the steth before doing her full exam. It blew her mind every time!

Abdominal exams feature prominently in my fantasies and stething is a part of that. Extra good if the stethoscope is a bit cold. That of course would need to be followed by thorough palpation. If the dr doesn’t like what they hear and feel, a rectal exam would be in my future.

I enjoy it as much as the heart and lung exam. Make that stethoscope cold and I am in heaven

I love the feel of a stethoscope on my belly, even more so than on my chest. There's just something more vulnerable feeling about it, probably because it's more sensitive and also because lying down as opposed to sitting makes me feel even more exposed, even with the same amount of clothing. I also love watching a thorough abdominal exam, both stething and palpation. I can take or leave abdominal sounds though.

On a flat abdomen, sure. It can look just as hot if it's pressed firmly near the hipbone - as hot as displacing the breast during heart auscultation..

I would always make this part of any examination i give. I enjoy doing a lot of stethoscope play especially on belly / abdomen area. A very enjoyable part of the examination as the Dr. Placing the cold stethoscope lower and lower having a good listen.

I Love having my belly and lower abdomen examined with a cold stethoscope. Being naked and having someone taking time around my belly/abdomen.

I love an abdominal exam with auscultation. In anticipation of the doctor palpating and auscultating my femoral pulses the ab exam gets my heart racing.

I love stomach stething. Ideally the patient would be stripped to underwear on the exam table, with a thorough listen to bowels and arteries.
