I don’t know how long she’s willing to retain but using Chinese or Thai rice sticks or vermicelli don’t require that much heating in a liquid , they can literally be softned And warmed in just as small amount of tomato sauce , barbeque sauce , sweet and sour ( sugar ,salt,pepper,vinegar , ketchup and a small can of pineapple ,done ) a basic butter, oil,garlic sauce add some parsley and toss , there’s millions of things you can start in her and finish on the stove , I don’t know if your fans of citrus but you can take almost any protein (chicken,beef,pork, fish,seafood ,shrimp)and thinly sliced or chopped , can be cooked using the acid juice and zest from lemon lime orange grapefruits , you can take ground beef cooked with lime juice and zest Dill, cumin & Greek yogurt to make an Armenian version of tar tar.
