How to start exploring with suppositories

I'm new here and I'm real curious about the use of suppositories for anal activities. Was hoping to ask where to start😄

I would say just buy some glycerine ones. Take one or two and try to hold them as long as you can. The effect should be pretty mild and it will give you an idea if you like them

If you just want to see how a suppository feels and learn how to insert them properly, try a Preparation H. They won't cause an urge to poo, but will rather melt and lube your passage.

The next step is glycerin. These are mildly laxative and will give you some experience in resisting the urge to poo. They are most effective if you've not pood in two or three days. Sooner and there may not be enough poo in your rectum to feel the full laxative effects of the suppository and sweep out the glycerin when you poo. The result can be prolonged laxation.; if you wait until you are really constipated, perhaps 4 or 5 days, your poo may be very large and hard and difficult to pass. Insert your suppositories, and two should be plenty, between your bowel wall and the poo. That way, they will melt better and the active ingredient will contact the bowel wall and prompt the urge. Glycerin suppositories start to be felt in 15 to 30 minutes, but you may well have to hold them for an hour or more to get a good effect. Walking or other such mild exercise enhances the effect.

For a more powerful effect, get some Dulcolax suppositories, or better the Magic Bullets which are the same active ingredient in a water soluble base. Dulcolax are also available with disposable applicators, similar to the Sephur applicators, which make getting the suppository well up into you much easier. Follow the suggestions above about insertion. Dulcolax can be felt within a couple of minutes after insertion as a burning, but should be retained at least 15 minutes, preferably much longer, until you are getting strong cramping in your entire colon. Even if you've not pood in a week they will make you go in an hour or so, but it won't be a fun experience. Dulcolax suppositories do nothing to soften hard poo or lubricate the passage. They just stimulate your large bowel to push out the poo.

Did My First Suppository Today - Wow !

Found some Bisacodyl suppositories while shopping for the oral ones (I usually get Dulcolax). Went home, didn't bother reading the instructions, put one halfway in and it got sucked into me.

After what felt like just over a minute, my bum started burning like hell and I got an intense, almost unbearable urge to go. I barely made it to the toilet before I expelled the (barely dissolved) suppository. After it came out, I felt an immense pressure/urgency down there but nothing came out. I just sat there for 15 minutes, desperately pushing to get out whatever was in there to no avail.

I later found out that you're not only supposed to hold it in for a while and let it dissolve, but also that if you do it with an empty colon, it can be an uncomfortable experience (I had already voided that day).

This was a weirdly arousing experience even though I probably did it completely wrong. I basically induced an extreme sense of urgency despite being empty, and part of me wants to do it again despite how unpleasant it was.

Is there any harm that can come from doing this? I have zero experience with suppositories and any help would be nice.

To answer briefly . . No, but as you'd stated - “put one halfway in and it got sucked into me” . . . Discarding the enclosed explanatory slip that details correct use was not helpful.

The Bisacodyl suppository here has what's called a sugar enteric (protective) coating which melts fairly quickly at body temperature & if, as in your case, it was placed too low down then the coating melted away too early while the peristaltic action had already begun prematurely. Meanwhile It's residue had leached it's way out through the rectal aperture causing irritation or griping as it was once referred to as.

All one needs to do is warm flannel (soap & water) wash the area thoroughly, dry off & apply a soothing type cream such as Vaseline intensive care or something similar.

Certainly NOT in the US or any country I know of. (The TABLETS are enteric coated, so the active ingredient is not released and doesn't cause strong cramping until the pills get into the large bowel where the cramping makes you poo. That's why, if you crush the pills and take them orally, you will likely puke… a lot.)

Duclolax suppositories just melt ( The Magic Bullets have the same active ingredient, but in a water soluble base. They dissolve)

You got the effect you describe because your suppository was not inserted close to high enough. A Dulcolax, or most any suppository, is supposed to be inserted and pushed as as high as possible up into you. There are fewer nerves up high.

Also, most suppositories are designed to make you poo. When that happens, the remaining suppository is ‘swept out’ when you poo. There seems to be little point in giving a laxative suppository to someone who has pood recently.

Consider your experience a teaching moment…. read the damn instructions.

This thread is specifically about exploring with SUPPOSITORIES and NOT about the chemical properties / composition of either a TABLET or that of a suppository !!!

Interesting the assumptions one can draw about some products

Obviously the knowledge of foreign pharmaceutical products here in Australia is greater than my own !

A google search for “are Bisacodyl suppositories sugar enteric coated” came up with several hits stating they are in multiple countries including the US

I disagree. Enteric coatings are specifically for oral dosage forms, to allow them to pass through the stomach intact before dissolving further down the GI tract. It would be pointless to enteric coat a suppository, since it is delivered directly to its final location. As far as I can tell, bisacodyl tablets are universally enteric sugar coated and bisacodyl suppositories are either in a hydrogenated vegetable oil vehicle, which melts at body temperature, or the Magic Bullet type vehicle, which dissolves in contact with moist rectal tissue.

If I have the time and with proper planning, I like to take two glycerin suppositories and one ducolax suppository and hold for 1 hour, although at times just a half hour. Then the following day follow with a warm water enema with a touch of soap, then a cool rinse enema. After I am fairly clean for my mistress and ready for whatever fun she has in mind

Hi @Supcurious , hope your first sup went really well and it was a good experience.

I found the best way to start off with sups is:

• use lots of lube when inserting, it will make it more comfy.
• go for something like glycerine suppositories when starting out as they are easier to take when learning.
• good to use gloves, if your not comfortable with some poo and stuff.
• take a deep breathe and let it go as you insert it will help your bumhole to relax.
• do your best to hold it as long as you can and when you need to poo, just go to the bathroom.
• biggest too is to relax.
