Regarding the enema soap packets, the quantity is not large, perhaps 15 to 20ml. that is plenty to cause a powerful urge to poo but is not what would be considered a strong solution when mixed with 1500ml of warm water. In fact, it is about one tablespoonful, perhaps a bit more.
On these pages many have suggested far stronger solution, perhaps 2 Oz or 60ml of Dr Bonner's per bag, which is about 3 or 4 times stronger.
As to glycerine in enemas, the typical smallest size “fig” or Asian mini-enema for adults is about 20ml of 50% glycerin/water, so is about the same dose of glycerin. A Fleet Liquid Glycerin Applicator gives about &ml. Both of these are designed to relieve simple constipation, and are not designed for complete clean outs.
There is no question the soap packet increases the poo power of the disposable bag enema kits, but not unduly so. Suck kits are used in hospital when a doctor wants a person to poo without delay.
As to a rinse, I've never received one. Only once, after being given a bag with the soap packet, did I have a second urgent, soft poo a few hours later.
In a capsule, I don't thing there are any negatives to getting a bag of warm water, with or without the soap, if you can't poo.
