Hairbrushes

Where does one find a good heavy wooden hairbrush suitable for giving a proper spanking? Amazon has several, but most don't seem to be heavy enough.

Just like paddles, it is doubtful a hair brush has to be large or heavy to be effective vis a vis giving a proper spanking.

Proper and heavy, though, are not very precise and might be viewed differently by different members. Perhaps better assistance could be provided if the two terms were defined better?

Sally Beauty Supply or hair supply stores. Then you can actually touch the hair brush and decide if it will be effective.

I bought one that broke on my bottom at H&M years ago, it hurts terribly though so it was really effective. I'd love to find a strudier one for both anus spanking and regular.

We accumulated a nice collection of century-old Celluloid hair brushes, as in my avatar, by checking antique shops. Not only are they quite effective but I'm sure they all have an interesting history if only they could talk.

Out of curiosity I tried one from H&M on my own bottom, and yes, after a few smacks a pain was terrible. Some of you must have butts made of military grade steel or uranium 😉.

Used a wooden back scrubbing brush till it cracked in two. Wide and delivered a nice smack over a large area

Like most anything--you'll have to avoid the cheap foreign stuff and go into better quality domestic/foreign product that is not stamped out of a mold in mega quantities. Perhaps even “hand made” by somebody that still takes pride in their product quality. Sometimes you just have to go into “upscale” territory to find quality stuff….

@12bumblebees Nice to see someone who appreciates fine workmanship and quality. The fact of using a “special” hand made instrument would add to the experience - physically and mentally. Even if it the device isn't glamorous or exceptionally well made, the fact that someone made it for you makes it very personal.

I worked as a Fuller brush door-to-door salesman years ago and often wondered when customers bought hair brushes, what they were going to be used for. Never had the courage back then to ask. 😃

Yes, that just shows how old we are if we remember that and I do. I wasn't very old but that was a long time ago!

I don't recall the door to door brushware salesman. But I do recall quite well of some ladies who had a fond attachment to their “ brush - wear”.

I remember my mom purchasing a paddle brush from the Fuller Brush door-to-door salesman.

I heard her say, “I need this kind for Johnny.”

I don't recall the Fuller Brush Salesmen, but we had multiple Encyclopedia salesmen come by. My folks bought a set of Britanica from one of them. Never got spanked by any one of the volumes!

Well, by all means go out and buy your wife a brush. I am sure you can find one at a flea market.

Did a google search - Fuller Brush Co. still in business, but no big of brushes, and what's there is sold out. Maybe on Ebay.

At Crate and Barrel, Bed Bath and Beyond and some nicer pharmacies you can find wooden long handled brushes which are very effective.

Well just before leaving to see our daughter, son in law, & 2 grand daughters ( 7&9) for a week at their home, my wife gave me a punishment spanking that i will not soon forget! As soon as we got to their home my wife told our daughter “ If dad starts to bicker or talk back upsetting you just tell him to remember his text! ( with no mention that it was a photo of ”MY" spanking brush) . My daughter never needed to mention it BUT my wife did many times. I would try Fuller Brush Company I think they are either on line or you may find a store in an outlet mall.

Well as we are getting older “My Sweetie” does not use the brush on me as hard or as often as when we were younger. Therefore my bottom is much more sensitive and has much less tolerance to pain, so i am begging for her to stop AND not being able to stay in position much more quickly then when we were younger!That being said i will welcome to find how a hair brush feels compared to “MY” Vermont bath brush! As you will find in the next sentance 😃!

Go on eBay and search for “wave hair brush wood handle.“. The one you want says “reinforced boar bristles” and has thin grooves on the back of it. It’s solid wood, not hollow, and costs about $7. I’ve had them used on me a lot, and trust me they sting. These are perfect spanking brushes.

A second choice is found on Amazon, search for “redecker short bath brush”. It’s an exact replica of the famed Vermont Country Store brush that’s been popular in the spanko world for years (but is no longer sold by Vermont Country Store). This will have your spankee kicking and possibly screaming, and again, it’s solid wood so no danger of breaking.
