Hey and hello,
1) I am 28 years old / young and male.
2) My normal blood pressure is between Sys 90mmhg - 110mmhg, Dia 50mmhg - 65mmhg. But it can also happen that my blood pressure drops to values of 45 / 15mmhg, especially at night. I had also experienced hypertensive crises where my blood pressure rose to over 360 / 295mmhg.
3) Different sizes of the cuffs are used for me. As a rule, I measure my blood pressure on the upper arm and on the ankle cuffs. A normal standard blood pressure cuff for adults (size 4 27cm - 35cm) is sufficient. If my wrist is measured, then it needs a cuff for me, for children. If you measure me on the thigh, you need a large cuff around the leg.
4) It depends on where I measure, what type of measuring device is used and how much pressure has to be applied in order to measure. It usually doesn't hurt. But with special electrical measuring devices and when measurements are taken on my wrist and thigh, it can be quite painful. If you then pump up to over 300mmhg, it sometimes becomes a real ordeal for me.
5) In everyday life I take measurements with a manual blood pressure monitor. Many electrical measuring devices fail because of my sometimes very violent fluctuations in blood pressure. Only the measuring device for telemedicine is one of the few electrical measuring devices that delivers accurate and precise results. Otherwise you have to connect me to the blood pressure module of a patient monitoring monitor.
I wish you all the best and best regards to you. I hope to have helped you a little further.
