Who has fallen into the New Diaper Fashion?

At some point here in Zity Biz there will be an awakening of the diaper fashions available today.

I started out in very plain white diapers, diaper pins and opaque plastic pants. Over the following years disposables came out with there fashionable childish prints. Everyone by then knew of baby prints on plastics pants and all kinds of fashionable diapers and covers. Along came the Yuppy diapers with fashion designs and ease of use not having to diaper pin. Now pull ups with there custom fit and easy changing features.

What I started in, is what I will finish in.

I'm still pretty traditional in my choice of plastic pants - I've always had them in lots of different colors - but for a long time I steered away from any kind of printed plastics. It finally occurred to me that plastic that has baby prints on it will have been formulated and manufactured specifically for use in plastic pants and such. The first print that I bought was the mostly orange on clear butterfly print that AC Medical had, and I found that plastic to be remarkably soft and smooth, and I've bought a dress and a skirt in that as well as several plastic panties. I also have a few items in blue carousel and pink carousel prints that I like, but most of my plastic stuff is still solid-color, or you could say solid-lack-of-color in the case of the translucent and clear ones.

I'm not into the AB fetish side of diaper wearing. I never tried any printed diapers or even diaper covers. It's just not my thing. I'm currently using Northshore supreme and Magamax diapers. At first they where basically the plain white diapers in color with or without a colored wetness indicators. I believe now you can get the Magamax in plain solid colors such as white ,dark blue and pink. I get some of the dark blue because they where doing a special price on them when they first came out. I suppose if I was a female I would maybe try the pink ones. I'm pretty much old fashioned so basically the plain white diapers for me. My intention is that no one sees my diaper anyways.

I find the ab diapers are softer then plain . But if i had choose i go plain or print. But i get rashes easier them most so soft on skin is key to my well-being.

I will never leave cloth prefolds but cloth in a variety of colors and patterns is fun, puts me in a great mood, my fiance loves to choose which ones to wear at any given time and and select rubber pants, both plastic and PULS to match my diaper.

I still use old style terry nappies folded kite fashion as I find the bulk of them between my legs very babyish. But I do like to cover them with either nursery print or frilly baby pants for that extra baby look. I will occasionally use a disposable for convenience

My standard at home diaper and rubber vinyl plastic and PUL pants are custom made for me and are plain ,I do have some color coordinated pants , that match my onesie or sitter pants .

Recently I had to reorder my travel disposables and for basicly the same price as white I got blue, black, purple, green, pink & white , I can't see paying good money for something that will only be seen by my aide who changes me my G/F or myself,( my G/F is part of the euphenism crowd ,her grandson gets his diaper changed ,her aide changes her "brief" ,if you need to use diapers you better be prepared to call them diapers in my book ) but paying extra for something that's going in the wash or to landfill is not my idea of well spent money ,so in a very small way i have ,when i had my cloth diapers,i could have ordered any color with contrasting color thread and Rhumba pants,i didnt my diapers control what i cant ,i am not prepared to be diapered in some amusing or entertaing way for a stranger on my dime.

Lately I've been exploring a few different fetishs and becoming not so old school ways. I'm coming out of the closet so to speak.

Since I have accepted that I'm going to need diapers for my incontinence the rest of my life I have changed my ways. I consider myself as a DL that enjoys wearing diapers not just for need but for fun also. So what do I mean fun?

I have worn a few AB/DL printed girly disposable diapers. The different colored diapers such tye die, pink and etc. I just got tired of the old simple plain white diapers. I find it's more exciting using different colors and designs to spice things up.

Sadly I still wear the plain white diapers for obvious reasons such as doctors appointments and such. At this point in my incontinence life I'm going to enjoy it to the fullest.

I still like to stay with what I know and love. Crinkly plastic disposable diapers, and vinyl plastic panties. I have tried cloth diapers with plastic panties, but the cloth diapers made for adults are so pricey for anything made well. They are comfy though, and a money saver over time I figure if I ever got into wearing all the time. Laundry day would be more of a chore though.

Foggie , yea the startup cost for cloth diapers is a bit sobering; and then one needs plastic panties (or pul or rubber) plus the laundry. But it is, as you point out, less expensive long term. I do think that for most there are many other considerations and cost may not even be a primary one. So for those of us with a choice we need to do what pleases us and hopefully not ‘break the bank’ while doing it. I expect age is a contributor. When I was young cloth and plastic panties were pretty much all available, so I lean that way. Obviously most folks today were probably swaddled in disposables and that is likely their go to preference. I have no data to support any of this…just my thoughts on the topic. So my comment, as expressed before, as long as we aren’t ’hurting-offending’ anyone else do what you enjoy!

My wife and I call them good 'ol diapers and rubber pants...always cloth diapers and extra large baby pants...when we're having fun and she's carrying me around and patting my diapers bottom, it's always dydees and baby pants...we love this. Baby Eric

I've always used disposables and the only colored ones i ever had was the old school green depends from the 1990's, the old school purple molicares, or the newer blue molicares. I have see the options for prints and colors but just does not appeal to me i like white. i got a sample from North Shore one time that had the blue mega max and was not into it, i'll stick with plain white. My plastic pants/diaper covers are either clear or opaque colored as well i guess i like my plastic pants like my diapers maybe a little old school or maybe i'm just boring and definitely not fashionable....

I'm kinda curious about abdl diapers, they look interesting and fun.my favorite is mega max tye dye medium diapers.i firmly believe that the diapers with cartoons and designs are meant to be seen.its not common that I am seen in my diapers.if I am the only one who sees myself in cute diapers, that would not be exciting.i don't drink anymore but have been wanting to go to the gay bar on underwear and fetish night and enjoy fun diapers and be seen
