Ladies is there a procedure that you dread to have when you are naked under the gown on the table ?

A person is always naked under what they are wearing.

You are naked under your clothes as you walk down the street.

My research tells me that what most all women dread the most.. is the recto-vaginal exam.. or just the plain rectal exam

I think there is a difference between a "normal" annual exam, which you probably mean with your quote, and more in-depth procedures that need to be done when something is not normal. There might be biopsies, hysteroscopies, hysterosalpinograms and a lot of other procedures that women dread.

I have had the "fortune" of having a uterine biopsy. It hurt horribly. I was not given any pain medicine, and was not sedated. I NEVER want to have to go through that again.

As I said earlier, most women I think dread the recto-vaginal exam.. perhaps mostly because of the embarrassment and not the pain or discomfort.

As to non-annual exam procedures, I would venture a guess that the hysteroscopy is perhaps the next item that most women do NOT look forward to. While it is perhaps not always painful, I am sure for most women it is at least quite uncomfortable.

I also have had this uhm “fortune” several times over the years. Each time I have uttered those same last words “I NEVER want to go through that again!” Whether performed with or without medication such as ibuprofen before, numbing or not numbing my cervix, using a pipelle suction or the curette, I truly hate all of it. It hurts like something else!

I have read that HSG test feels crampy and painful. I never want to undergo that

I HATE pap smears. I think they are really painful.

Not exactly under the gown but having breast lumps aspirated hurts like no other! And it just doesn't hurt for the day but mine hurt for weeks after.
