There has always been a lot of interest in (mostly) Japanese enema cylinder/piston devices. This is not one of them. It is, however, sold domestically, made of good, durable materials. easily disassembled and cleaned and built for automotive lubricants, including heavy/thick oil.
I found this on Amazon and bought one.

I just took it for a "test drive" on my sub and it worked reasonably well on the first try. I was able to attach a SN colon tube to the end of the hose. There's a control valve at the connection between the cylinder and the hose, so loading (pour in from the top and insert the piston, OR use the piston to draw liquid up by suction, which is what I did) was easy and keeping the cylinder loaded was easy. It's a bit unwieldy to handle and manage the nozzle and the nozzle connection to the tubing, but I have figured out how to overcome that the next time. If you use a DBC, it will work quite well.
There are also a number of options that I think will work well, including connecting a length of latex or silicone tubing (check the I.D.)
The visual and aesthetic values are quite high. While it is not glass (thus, safer), the design allows for more user flexibility. Although I used the clear hose the first time, it can be used without it - although some adapting will be needed to connect a nozzle directly to the injector. Injection was easy. It could be very fast (whooosh!), but I don't like the possible risks and injected the full liter of Dr. Bronner's peppermint solution at a slow pace, which she tolerated well.
Note that the sale price does not include a $19 shipping fee (and not eligible for Prime), but the total price of @ $50 (+tax) is pretty cheap, compared to the unavailable alternatives.
