What's your favorite underwear & why?

My new favourite is Platan briefs from "The White Briefs".

I must say, I am a classic white brief guy - so called tighty whitie - though I prefer them a bit loose and not tight. Hanes, Jockey, CK, FTL - definitely what a boy wears on enema day though it doesn't matter a lot as they come off for his enema.

And, throw in pair of short white sox. As a kid, my enemas were totally naked, but as I've gotten older, the sox kept my feet warm. However, in just sox I feel more naked than if totally naked.

Well for a guy who mostly wears no underwear at all because of the hot climate I live in, I still have an underwear fetish and own hundreds of pairs of underwear of many styles. I know it makes little sense at all, but I just love the look and feel of most underwear. However, there are enough occasions in which I will wear underwear as it seems the thing to do in some instances such as going to the gym, expected sexual encounters, or to medical appointments. Basically, I will wear underwear for show or to make an impression on others (and it does sound like that is the case for many other guys posting to this topic).

First and foremost, my favorite underwear styles must have a pouch for comfort, especially in hot weather, and to show a package in whatever pants, shorts, or slacks I wear. Secondly, my underwear must be soft and non-scratchy. This usually means some sort of man-made material or silk that is very light-weight. For me cotton is not a good choice as it tends to hold sweat and thus becomes too scratchy and causes rashes. Thirdly, I like colored underwear to be able to coordinate with whatever outfit I am wearing at the time, since it goes back to the fact that I only wear underwear in the first place to make an an impression. I figure if I may be attracted to another guy in the first place because of his underwear choice, then he will most likely be attracted to me for the exact same reason in my underwear choice.

Always wear colored, mostly red, green, or black colour, extremely tight briefs, they have to be extremely tight or too much severe testicular discomfort and pain, plus look better when I strip if I meet a guy. The tighter the better.

For me, it's jockstraps. I first saw some guys wearing them in a public pool changing room when I was about 8, and I was instantly obsessed. They're the only underwear I've worn since I moved out of my parents' house.

Briefs are OK too -- they show off a guy's package nicely. I've never understood how anybody could find boxers attractive though.

@LDB Perhaps it would be more obvious to some of us if the thread were tagged as “gay” or the title was more obvious as to the intention. Not obvious the OP limited this to gay men since he also mentioned threesomes with a GF and lingerie. Not clear this is intended for gays only.

I don't think they're made anymore. Their quality and comfort went way down after they switched to synthetics years ago; I prefer their older cotton models.

I like swim jocks under my gym shorts in the summer to hold up my low-hanging scrotum when it's hot out. I like the Amazon ones that are stretchy nylon with the very thin straps They also serve to hide my dark pubes showing through my swimsuit.

In the winter, I wear Tbo briefs as they have a nice supportive pouch.

I do have some standard jocks with yhe wider straps, including a Bub Duribilknit strap that is pretty old but the elastic is like new. It's pretty heavyweight and holds my scrotum very tight. I like wearing this for sports. It's hot to wear, though.

This is a dangerous question for a person like me. I have a collection of over 100 pair in seemingly every style except the novelty ones. i have low hangers so I lean toward briefs that have some sort of support pouch. All said and done, despite my wide rangeing collection, when it comes to playing nothing turns me on more than white briefs.
